On street Chapati production line must be seen and on street kitchen. I really enjoyed the food - biggest and best chapatis I've ever tasted - and the service is amazing - especially when the average age of the waiting staff is around 12 years and yet you don't wait for more than a few seconds for anything. I just... More

We ate there based on Lonely Planets recommendation (so many of them seem to be closed as of 2016!) Food was fresh, chapatis are enormous, and our boy-server was charismatic and attentive. Best chapati we have had in Myanmar. They were out of the mutton curry so we opted for chicken. Returned again a few nights later - same server... More

It was the epicenter of this summer's unrest in Mandalay. This was a very popular place and it is a shame, but unlikely it will continue in its present location.

Amazing chapatti and good mutton and beef curry - there were queues of people lining up to get take away when we were there. Prices are extremely reasonable and service is friendly and quick and the atmosphere is good.

The location is perfect. It is on the street and watch Chapati is being made. The waiter is very friendly. The mutton curry is very tender. The chicken Briyani is good. The price is reasonably not expensive for street food. I like the atmosphere. Evening is good time to have food in this cafe

The food here is just extraordinarily good in all respects. Do not miss the chapati: it is made fresh and absolutely the most delicious I've ever had. You sit outside on a plastic chair and eat with the local folks, so don't go if this bothers you.

I have been living in the city for more than a year now, and I crave the chapatti stand on almost a daily basis. I've been many a time and tried most dishes on the menu. The mutton curry, mutton korma and mix veg curries are the best. And the chapattis are AMAZING and super fresh. Outdoor seating with lots... More

Can't miss this Indian restaurant. Look for the crowds of people watching the chapati makers over wood-fired griddles outside. There's quite a process involved in making them, starting with the person mixing up the dough to the women portioning them and rolling them out, to the two men cooking them. We had biryani and it was delicious. You'll see locals... More

Shortly after eating the chapattis, I was violently sick, and this eventually progressed to uncontrollable diarrhoea, I had to take anti-biotics.. I can trace the sickness back to this place as I ate with someone who suffered exactly the same symptoms as me...sorry but I wouldn't recommend eating here.
