We had a great experience, the food and atmosphere are both perfect. Definitely try this place out, it’s excellent.

This place was so fantastic we went twice! They have super nice and personable staff who engaged in interesting and friendly conversation without being pushy in the slightest. They had interesting specials each day but the real star is their Nem Khao. One of the...best dishes we've had anywhere in the world, no exaggeration. They make a pretty good vegetarian version as well.More

We came to this restaurant for dinner. The place is not huge, and was crowded, so I recommend reserving a spot. The menu was varied and offered a local menu with a twist. Enjoyable experience. Highly recommend

We came here for lunch three days in a row during our stay in Luang Prabang. Cool venue vibes with great service and amazingly delicious food that is cheap for what it is as it’s such high quality. The Buddha bowl, coconut lemongrass fish and...Laap khai are all stand outs. Can’t recommend enough.More

After false starts and full houses, we finally arrived here on Valentines night. It was already busy by the time we arrived at about 7/7.30pm but we got a table and ordered a good red wine (nice Languedoc Corbieres at a fair price) and a...Basil Mojito which was good. To eat, I chose the Lao meatballs which, with dill infused, were tasty and came with nice chunky chips (or french fries if you are not English!) and a salad, and my fiancée had a chicken burger teaming with sauces and taste again with chips and a slightly different salad. The place has tons of character, it is busy and friendly and the ambience is great. It definitely has a good “vibe”. Staff were friendly and efficient and although slightly more expensive than some of its peer group, it is cheap by UK/EU standards. Our total bill was circa £15UK. I would highly recommend this restaurantMore

American expat with Lao wife here, nice quaint eatery in downtown LP...chic atmosphere and decoration, we had the three jeu dip appetizer, green curry gnocchi and pork stew parmentier, My fav was the stew, had a hint of cinnamon- the wife liked the gnocchi. All...in all, a nice quiet dinner though restaurant was busy. Service was good and food on par for the quality! Recommend for lunch or dinner. French lady as manager was friendly and accommodating.More

With all of the many, many choices for dinner on the main street of the Lounge Prabang night market it's kind of hard to make a choice. I looked at the Tripadvisor reviews and spotted Bouang as an inexpensive and highly rated spot. I can...vouch for their high reviews scores. The first thing one notices is the vibe - very positive, very young and very crowded. The food is great and the prices very, very low. Fresh ingredients in they menu items, healthy eating and a very friendly staff. Highly recommend.More
