We came to this place for dinner. A very cute place, managed very well by friendly staff. The fondue is actually a hot pot, which is very tasty. Not the cheapest restaurant around but good value for money. Highly recommend when in Luang Prabang.
We were pleasantly surprised when the pork "fondue" dish is actually part BBQ (think Korean) and part Chinese hot pot. A good meal with a good view, try to get the handouts from their guys at night market, I believe it offers a discount of...sortsMore

Cross over the bamboo bridge and up the stairs to get to this delightful restaurant on the river. Really nice atmosphere and delicious food. They have a special of the day. If it happens to be sautéed squid, order it! Lots of tables have the...seating on the floor on cushions. If you’re like us and need more support, they have that too.More
We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and we are so glad we went. We went for the Laos BBQ at 300,000 kip which was excellent value! The food was delicious and there was so much of it, could easily have fed 4 of...us. A good way to sample the local cuisine. The Luang probang sausage was so tasty.
They were also able to cater for my nut allergy and modified the bbq accordingly.More
Nice decor with wooden terraces and view over the river. We had average lunch, but the couple next to us had the special Lao fondue, and it really looked good and special. I would try that, if I went back.
Just at the other side of the small bamboo bridge, on top the stone stairs, you will find Dyen Sabai on your left hand side. Shoes off to enter the restaurant. Pick a spot with river view and choose from the short list with excellent...meals. We tried the fresh spring rolls, minced fish and another fish meal. Together with the happy hour for the drinks ( between 12 and 17!) we spent two hours on a 23 euro lunch including several drinks.
Clean toilets and lots of servants make Dyen Sabai a better alternative for the touristic medium quality restaurants near the Mekong river.More
Beautiful setting, nice views over the river. You need to walk across a Bamboo bridge if you are in the main town. Excellent food. We visited twice in 3 days. The portion sizes are large and we wished we had ordered less as we ended...up wasting.More
