We went there two times for dinner because it was just next to the bamboo bridge. Food was great, not cheap but not that pricey. The view and the setting was lovely. The Laos style hot pot is a must try! Fair portion, tasty soup...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our guest house. So glad we tried it. Food was fantastic. I’m vegetarian. The vegetarian menu was limited but very nice. My husband ordered buffalo with sticky rice and said it was amazing. Atmosphere was lovely (lanterns by...More

The restaurant sports great ambiance overlooking the Mekong tributary, set across from the Luang Prabang city center. The service is impeccable; portions are on the small side and DO reserve a day ahead if river side seat is desired. On the downside, the prices are...More

The location of this restaurant is super cool, as you have to cross a bamboo foot bridge to get there and climb up a large staircase. The restaurant itself is perched atop a cliff right along the riverbank. A mix of regular and low slung...More

We headed over the bamboo bridge to Dyen Sabai for lunch, great little setting! There are a few seating options, we chose a platform with under table sit down seating. My partner had the steamed fish - it was ok, not particularly flavoursome. I chose...More

I continue to be impressed by the bamboo bridge to this restaurant (it's near Cafe Toui/Icon Klub, can't miss it) - it is removed during rainy season and rebuilt afterwards. Every. Single. Year! Which is why they charge 5k kip (return) for crossing the bridge....More

No, not in my view, because of the nature of the bridge's construction and the steep access to it from both sides. You would need to take a taxi and go the long way round.

Dyen Sabai offers Lao typical food. From November to August, we offer breakfast. We also have a nice selection of desert (foreigner sweet.. sorry the Laotians don't eat that much sweet!!) We also, have happy hour from noon to 7 pm, 2 cocktails for the price of one, on selected cocktails. You can reach us with a bamboo bridge (in dry season) (there is a fee for the bamboo bridge of 5,000 kips from 8 am to 8 pm, after this the bamboo bridge is free). We also do free boat from noon to closing when the bamboo bridge is not there (rainy season only)
