The lotus/lily pond is an Unesco Heritage site. Wonderful setting. We got there just as the restaurant opened, a bit on the early side. But we got a great table! Had drinks and appetizers and then a wonderful dinner. We were still there when the...lights come on, and if anything it makes it more magical. Very expensive.More

The place is just... beautiful. Set near a lotus pond. And the Lao food so tasty! Even our teens who are not a big fan of Lao food really enjoyed the place!

The garden with lotus is just average in this season, maybe in summer, it will be better. The traditional Lao food is good but still more expensive than other restaurants.

Words cannot do justice to describe my experience here. I took my parents to dine at this place ( traveling from Amman , Jordan). We are strict vegetarians. The restaurant was crowded and busy. Despite this , the manager spoke to the chef and they...showed such courtesy in making a special vegetarian meal for us that knocked off our senses - this was the best pure vegetarian meal I had in a most unexpected place. Sincere gratitude 🙏 I had visited many years ago - but remember this experience to dateMore

Great food and service in a magical and romantic fairy tale setting around the lotus ponds. A must if you are in Luang Prabang. We were staying at Vila Maly so just minutes away.

Excellent meal of upscale Lao selections. Wonderful ambience around an indoor lagoon. Good wines and drinks. Quite expensive for Laos.

The restaurant sits around a water pond that is covered with water lilies and other plants. It is a very romantic place in the evening. The decor is asian colonial oppulent with great light. Service is efficient, attentive but not overly friendly. Food is nice...and well presented. Good wine and drinks menu. A great place to have a romantic dinner.More

Well worth the visit. This is such a beautiful restaurant. Very romantic! By far the most attractive dining spot in Luang Prabang. Unfortunately the food is just fair, but, go anyway for the entire experience!

We booked our last meal here and had a booking for 8pm. We wanted to eat here as it was connected to our hotel (Maison Dalabua) and I had heard such good things about the restaurant. We arrived before our booked slot and it took...ages for a waiter to acknowledge us standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting around. Someone eventually saw us and asked about our booking and went to find the table but they couldn't as someone was already on the table. They then sat us down with a menu for about 10 minutes until the "Manager" came over and asked about our booking again and went to find a table. They seemed to be seating people from the road before those who had a booking. Eventually after waiting a lot longer we finally had a table which was pretty much where we had breakfast every morning so wasn't anything special. They took our order for drinks and food but the food seemed to arrive way before our drinks did. We asked why our drinks were taking so long and they said the bar was in high demand. The food didn't seem to take that long to cook - which was worrying. Fortunately we didn't have any food poisoning. The food wasn't amazing despite the price. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately after such hype and rave reviews.More
