After spoiling myself with genuine Italian food in Venice, Florence and Rome, pretty much every single Italian restaurant in Jeddah has been a disappointment...except Gabbiano. Sure, it's nowhere near on the level of the cuisine you get in Italy but it's definitely the best you can do in Jeddah. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is in a fine location in the beach area. The site is surrounded by massive construction that even taxi drivers get lost but it is a temporary thing. The food was good. Fresh salads with an impeccable olive oil. Pasta (al dente) and soups were well presented and well made. My companions opted for meat and fish entrees.... More

The day before yesterday, we visited the restaurant to enjoy gastronomic experience, but unfortunately it was the worse experience we ever had. The food quality was so bad and below our expectation. I dont recommend the restaurant at all.

The atmosphere in the local was very cold and aseptic, the panorama from the windows was on the over construction sites close the Corniche. The local staff was caring and not intrusive. The pizza margherita nothing of special to remember. The "linguine all'aragosta" (spaghetti with lobster) overcooked. The grilled shrimps good. The cocktail of the home was not a cocktail but a... I must say, this place has been able to maintain their quality. Even though, there were couple of times where service and food was below expect; lately the quality has been good. One draw back is the location. Thus couldn't have been at a worked place due to the construction going on Recommended Italian place

I have been to this luxury place more than 20 times on deferent events. Personally I don't like the inside structure you walk in and then there is a very small walk ways and the way to go up is very tight. I say they must make the inside look more roomy from inside up and down. Any way overall... More

One of the best classy resturants in Jeddah. I ordered gabbiano salad half portion which is always outstanding by taste and very rich ingredients. Ordered half portion spinish fettuccini with parmigian cheese the best I have ever taste. The main course was mix seafood which is just perfectly cooked. The sweet was Strawberry cake very unique. I recommend as one... More

This place has maintained its quality. At some point, the quality deteriorated but they got their ducks back in row. The place is a bit small and I'm not a big fan of the location as it can get difficult to reach with all the construction going on. Highly recommended if you are close.
