I am so glad we went here. You do not have to stand in the hustle and bustle and amidst the crowd to watch the fountains. The food is really good and they have all the options. The green Thai curry was cooked to perfection. Tip': Make sure you make a reservation in advacne and get the table outside. We... More

If you want to eat here make sure you reserves a table on the terrace where you can get a good view of the fountains. Excellent free entertainment in the evenings to complement the excellent Thai food on offer and, as it is associated with a hotel where you can have a nice cold beer or glass of wine. reserving... Next to offering delicious Thai dishes you will be so close to the magnificent dubai fountain and its light and sound show taking place every hour during the evenings. The ambience is good and you can choose if you sit outdoors to... More

Great food Licensed And to cap it all over looks the fountains where you get away from tourists crowding around the fountains, but you are up in a veranda having fab food and wine overlooking the show

Mango Tree has one of the best views of the Dubai Fountains you can find- book a table on the terrace and enjoy! Yum thai food, excellent cocktails and good service. Given the location, the cost is to be expected.

It's going to open in February 2017 at a location yet to be advertised. We miss the food there. Nothing else to add. In its place is an Australian restaurant Atlantic, yet to open.

We were recommended Mango Tree by a friend and overall the experience was very good. The location provides a great view across the marina with the Burj Khalifa in full view. The fountain shows also offers a great spectacle and a bit of splendour to the occasion. I would definitely recommend booking to guarantee a outside table. We got lucky... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
