A search for a good restaurant and carefully prepared food can be a challenge in Bolivian towns, especially during the holidays, and despite a heavy demand, Abis followed through every time on its commitment to providing decent service and appetizing cuisine. Standouts included the craft beer, coffee, ice cream, panninis and even the international dishes, while the excellent service was... More

This seemed like the only place open on the mail square New Year's day! |It was busy. the coffee was excellent and so was the omelets. The staff were friendly and the owner seems to speak every language!

Nothing really stands out about this place. Average coffee, average service, average food. Decent wifi though and the churimuya ice-cream is worth a taste.

We went to Abis for dinner and found a good range of dishes in the menu, my wife got a salad she said it was very good...I ordered the burritos, been a Mexican food fan, I can say this where more "wraps" than burritos, the taste was real good tough so no harm done there, however they are not burritos... This is a very nice spot located at lovely Plaza 25 de Mayo. They have a wide selection of great cakes and pies. The atmosphere is great because of the relaxed music, cosy space and friendly personnel. The Belgian owner is a nice guy too. Would certainly recommend this place!

By far my favourite cafe in Sucre, Abis is reasonably priced for both menu del dia and menu items. We are there for lunch and dinner a few times and quality was always consistent. Their wifi isn't the fastest but it was good enough and the staff didn't mind when we stayed longer to do our Spanish homework. They make... More

Thank you so much for the nice comments you made on Abis Cafe. We are pleased to read that you had a great time with us. That's why we are here for, isn't it? We have ADSL from Entel here and are waiting for the fiber optics. Aparently all is installed but as always it is more a political issue... More

We wanted to go to Abis patio but this turned out to be closed, therefore we decided to go to Abis café. The food is ok, however it does not really have a 'restaurant' feeling, which I think Abis patio does have. But for a simple bite (think burgers and some Mexican food) it's fine! Bathroom was unusable because there... More

Indeed, Abis Patio is closed because we are building in the back. We didn't want to keep it open due to the noise and dust generated with the construction. Therefore we have transferred all Abis Patio food to Abis Cafe at the main plaza. We did have to slightly change the menu because of the size of the kitchen. We... More

Excellent cafe with very high quality food especially for travellers looking for a little taste of home. Exceptional breakfast selection and good coffee. Location central Sucre makes it a must to visit. Service is very good here.
