The grilled cheese is very good. Better is the gumbo, if available. Towny joint. Solid place. Good for lunch, fine for dinner, too. Pleasant staff.

The Old Town Tavern always has a nice selection of beers on tap. I consider this as a must-stop any time I'm in Ann Arbor. It's a great place to meet up for drinks with friends. The waitstaff is always friendly and the crowd is vibrant. This place is usually packed around dinner so you may have to wait to... More

We enjoyed our casual dinner here and liked the variety on the menu--southwestern fare, burgers, salads and soups, a number of vegetarian options. Our waitress was delightful. The food, however, left much to be desired. The recommended gumbo was unlike any we'd had before, and we'll stick with the classic--this version was a thick beige stew of chicken and not... More

Good food but nothing fancy. Friendly staff, burgers, fajitas- sports bar fare. Nice place, a little loud so be prepared .

Ann Arbor is, well, Ann Arbor. And you expect things to be a little "different". The trendy new places on Main have all seemingly aimed at upscale foodie. But Old Town remains, like its name, old Ann Arbor. Good food, service, and value - all while being comfortable in it's skin and not wanting to follow the crowd. Burgers and... More

Post game we headed right to Old Town and luckily we got the last open table before it really got swamped. Our waitress was really hustling to keep up with the rush of fans descending on the place. She did a good job keeping things moving and all with a good sense of humor. The food is not fancy here:... More

We arrived late to the hotel on a Friday night. The front desk staff gave us this place as a suggestion and followed up with Trip Advisor reviews. Drive down there (about 10 minutes from the hotel). Parked in a public parking less than a block away (cost us $3) upon leaving. Promptly greeted and place beer, wine and appetizer... More

We needed a place to walk to from our hotel and this place was fun and lively. They had a live band playing that actually kept the music at the perfect volume of the room. So many times you go into a small place with live music and they are blasting you out of the joint. The food was good,... More

I grew up in Ann Arbor and this is one of the few places that still feels real and has not changed in decades. It is truly a hangout for locals of all walks of life. Come here if you have an interest in understanding what the true Ann Arbor felt like back in the day. The location is one... More
