Quaint small town restaurant with nostalgic atmosphere. The food was very good and moderately priced. Got prompt and friendly service from our server, young lady by the name of Alex.

Here for a meal and beverage. Not a fancy place and that is a good thing. Only a couple of local people in and out one at a time.

The food portions are very generous, which was welcome at dinner as we had biked the whole day on the Katy Trail. I had no complaints about the food at all, but this is not gourmet fare. I thought breakfast met much higher standards. The server at dinner seemed a bit casual. Even though the Inn wants to promote local... More

The place was kind of neat looking, and we really wanted to like it. Unfortunately the service wasn't good, and the food was equally not good.

We keep coming to this place because of the food and ambiance. Small rural atmosphere with very good food and satisfying portions. The half-dozen dinners we have had there over the past two years have always been fantastic. The selection of food is good and the cook is one of the best, even though the canned beans are not the... Ate dinner (choose from the menu) and breakfast (buffet). Both were satisfying. The breakfast buffet was the 2nd best on our Missouri trip - nice choices and tasty. The dinner menu was varied and the salad I had was filling and not just bib lettuce, but a selection of greens.

We go to Augusta every fall and stay at HS Clay House B&B. The restaurant is just a couple blocks away so it's a nice stroll. We always have dinner at least once over the weekend at Ashley Rose. Wait staff is friendly and quick to your table. The food is good and served hot. Some German dishes. The portions... More

Great Sunday breakfast!!! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links & patties, ham, French toast, pancakes, fruit & pastries. If you leave hungry - it is your own fault!

We were passing through town and stopped for a late lunch. It was a Tuesday and the town was pretty much locked up, prior to the start of the season. Ashley Rose was open and inviting. We were literally the only people there at 3:00 pm, but they were open for business and did a great job. A nice menu... More
