Restaurant Kao by Sach’a is located next to the Marriott Santa Cruz and offers Pan-Asian cuisine. You can dine inside or outside at a covered terrace next to the busy road. Service is professional and very friendly. The muzak is terrible: very loud and mostly gangster-rap music. We came on a weekday early evening in October. The place wasn’t busy, a so-so sign. We were not disappointed. The dishes we choose were very tasty. When you fancy good Asian food: Kao is the place for you. Highly recommended.

The reservation was received and confirmed with kindness and promptness, they asked me the reason, something I loved because it was my friend's birthday. We arrived and they immediately took us to the table they had reserved, but they had no problem changing us to another one that we liked better. All the waiters with a smile, attentive and very well trained, gave us the Japanese translation of the names of some foods or dishes. The food was delicious, we ate the pork belly bao as a starter, veggie sushi and rice… I don't remember everything was delicious. The incredible cocktails, we had one with sake and blueberries and another that I don't remember. At the end they surprised us with a dessert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday in Japanese to my friend!!! We had lots of fun!

Very very good. Amazing food, great service. Don’t actually remember the names of the dishes, but we ordered the one with rice and beef, pork bao and that fried sushi topped with salmon and caviar. Each one of them was an explosion of amazing flavors and textures. Will definitely come back soon.

Hmmmm…..great service, chic atmosphere, good location. Just wish the food had been up to the same standards. We eat a lot of Asian food - pretty presentation does not equal good food. First hint was that half of the menu was the drinks….

The food is very good and the service excellent, but unfortunately the smell of your room is horribly strong and unbearable (sweat, humidity, stale), as well as dark and without any windows. Had dinner with two friends and it was fantastic! The Paiche Gyozas were delicious, the Thai Ceviche had perfectly balanced flavors, and the drinks were super tasty. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the ambience and service were excellent. Highly recommend!

The best sushi I've ever had in my life! We ordered the gyozas as a starter and a delight of 22 pieces of sushi! Incredible flavors. We will definitely return to try the other fusion dishes they have. It is worth highlighting the welcome greeting, desserts and black tea. Everything excellent.

I recently visited Kao and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. We ordered two cocktails, one of which was a variation of a Negroni. However, the drink lacked flavor entirely. When we raised the issue, the bartender's response was that it "always tastes like that," which was not only disappointing but also surprising for a cocktail that should have been much more dynamic. Additionally, we were informed that two of the drinks we had originally requested were unavailable, which led us to ask for a recommendation. Rather than offering a suitable alternative or something creative, the staff simply suggested we opt for whisky, which felt like a lack of effort in providing a thoughtful drinking experience.
