Patrick (the owner) is one of the most friendly Frenchman I've ever met. Happy to talk but won't waste your time. And his kitchen staff are amazing! Really great quality French cuisine at a very affordable price. I highly recommend dining here. I had the salad au fromage de chevre and the magret de canard. Both were amazing! Better than... More

Family run place offering really good French food with quality and quantity. It's not a high end or luxurious restaurant but they make sure you like what you have in your stomach. The owner opened a great place.

In a word: fantastic. The food and service are superb and are very affordably priced. Ingredients are freshly selected and provide delicious flavor to both traditional french and Khmer influenced dishes. Staff are well trained, and the owner is a really friendly and engaging guy. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Recommend the pepper steak, french onion soup, and... More

I really liked this place. The ambience was lovely. The menu very French. I would have gone back a second time if the scallops had been available.

Tree minutes tuktuk from nasty Pub Street. Long time owner Patrick has the passion. And he sure knows how to make you delight in a classic French country-side dinner. Home-made appetisers, duck confits, daily specials, steaks, you name it. Even the bread is as instantly flown in from Paris. Low key, VERY good value for your bucks, fresh produce and... More

Had a lovely meal with friends at Barrio. We had to have the waitstaff translate the menu, but we were easily able to pick, and everyone in our dinner group was very happy. The meal was amazing. Everything from perfectly cooked steaks to high quality foie gras made the meal memorable.

We were a little concerned when there was no one else eating here, but we'd read good reviews so we stayed, and we were glad we did! The mushroom grilled toast is scrumptious, as is the pate and steak (though it was rarer than we'd ordered, it was tender and well prepared). Prices are cheap by US standards, but compared... More
