This restaurant was on our guide book list and we're glad we tried it. The food was very original and delicious. I had a khmer dish (can't remember the name) with meat and prawns in a tomato sauce and cheese cake for dessert (just ok)My...More

My friend and I dined at Marum on our most recent visit to Siem Reap. Two of our friends, Siem Reap locals, recommended the place and dined with us. The location was a little farther away from our hotel so, had our friends not recommended...More

A delicious Khmer Tapas fusion meal from Marum in Siem Reap. It’s also a member of the Tree Alliance network giving opportunities in the hospitality to those who need it. Best food so far. I went for the ‘Smoked Aubergine dip’, the Phnom Penh inspired...More

Definitely not your every day dinner in siem reap. The dishes are very smart and special, expect something fancy! The prices are not too cheap on the other hand, but service is great!

I read about this restaurant in the Guardian and decided to try it out. We had visited Malis the night before. I thought Marum on the food side blew Malis out of the water!! They can’t compete with Malis’s high end building, but their restaurant...More

We ate here this evening. Given that this restaurant is for a good cause and had such good reviews we were expecting better. The restaurant was busy (we arrived just after 7pm) and after being seated we waited over 20 minutes to be given the...More

We enjoyed our dinner at Marum. We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated upstairs. I had the pork skewers (photo) and my partner had the kompat pepper beef. Both were attractively presented and we're delicious. Service was good.

This is a pretty, relaxing place with a friendly staff. The other dishes may be "amazing" but my pasta dish, which had a "spicy" icon on the menu, was bland, not spicy at all. The portion was minute -- the smallest portion of pasta I've...More

Description
Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!
