In all honesty this place is exceptional and could be used as an example of how great service can be!.Hot pot is Hot pot you might say. Not really! The fit out is simplistic and warm colours, tables are functional rather than designer furniture and chairs very comfortable. That is where the normal ends and the outstanding starts. The restaurant... More

Really good place. Like to go there! Only this restaurant also offers delicious tomato soup for hot pot. Try this out! But be aware that after hot pot you blush smells 3 days like soup.

I like to go to Haidelao every time I am in Shenyang. It is very popular with local people and the value for money is fair. Unfortunately Chinese people don't usually drink their beer very cold, so one must instist on COLD beer every time you order more.

Indeed all previous reviews were spot on in their praises. The staff have been trained to be highly attentive and springs into action whenever a request is made. Food is typical of the Northern/Sichuan type of cuisine with choices of up to 8 different types of soup stock. One has a choice of ordering a single , double or quadruple... More

Great value traditional hot pot in every interpretation of the word. Wow definitely worth putting a toilet roll in the hotel room mini bar fridge for your return. If you have the hot stuff this bad boy will hurt both ways

Absolutely the best service we had during our entire trip!! The variety of food was outstanding and the servers went out of the way to make our meal both fun and enjoyable. They even split our hotpot so we could have one section for our vegetarian daughter and the other for meat. One note- the spicy hot pot is very... More

This place is to die for, amazing food, amazing staff. Service is the best I've ever experienced, anywhere in the World. Too many good things to say about this. The soups are lovely, the sauces, the fruit, the meat, everything - all served with a smile. Great social thing to do or even if it's just a couple. Recommend to... More

Thinking of hot pot in Shenyang, the place I can recall is Haidilao. For the food, all is great. For the services, much greater. The recommended foods are minced prawn (虾滑), assorted seafood balls (滑类组合), shrimp balls (虾丸), chicken meat, Frozen tofu (冻豆腐), Deep-fried bean curd skin (冻豆腐), oyster (蛎蝗), mushroom and vegetables. A half portion is also available. So,... More

Taste good, look clean. I never been to any restaurants has that kinds of friendly service in China. I was always annoyed at bad service in China, especially throwing money or chopsticks... But this one is different. Good enough, no very good!
