My husband wanted to try Bandejo Paisa, so we went to Mondongos. They were also able to accommodate me as a vegetarian with a meat-free version. We had so much food in front of us, we could have fed 6 people! And, my husband reported the Bandejo as being bland. Nice open air restaurant with good people watching. Would not... More

It's just okay. Fair local food but cheap! It is what it is....cheap good local food. Hot sauce helps.

We were advised to visit Mondongos to try the local speciality. I can't recall the name but it is a massive meal involving a bowl of beans, half an avocado, a sausage, rice, plantain and an arepa. Such a lot of food! It was a really good meal, washed down with some draft beer.

I really enjoyed my lunch and it was my first experience eating "mondongo". it was a lot of food and delicious. Fun atmosphere and great service. GO early as it tends to be really busy at lunch time.

If you want a delicious, home cooked style traditional Colombian meal, com here! The portions are huge and each dish is accompanied with beans, avocado, corn, and arepas.

If you like the high calorie, substantially nutritive, minimally spiced fare that makes for traditional Colombian, you'll like this. With a try. A clean, minimal setting

There are two locations - the better of the two is on Carrera 70. Place gets packed at lunch, we went for a late dinner and were pleasantly surprised. My wife loved the mondongo - an acquired taste, but true to it's name, a specialty. Had the churrasco, but it fell short of the myriad of steakhouses in Medellin. Depending... More

Its a great place if you want to try the delicious Mondongo, a traditional Colombian soup. The staff is very polite and the service is great even though every time is full of dozens of people. If you arrive during the rush hours you should be on line, but they managed to get you a table very quickly

We were here for lunch. It was super busy and super noisy. The waiters were efficient and professional. You can try all kinds of typical dishes. The food was all quite good and plentiful. And for some reason they bring you a big bowl of avocados and bananas on the side.
