The Langosta Lounge is cute but the food was less than mediocre. It was overpriced for the quality of the food and drinks. They need to up their game on the food - a lot.
Stopped at Longosta Lounge for lunch while visiting the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Our meal was good, not great, but a solid "good". The place was busy and it was hot out so we ate inside. The restaurant was relatively clean and our server was really nice and helpful. I had the Kale Salad which was good. I'd probably return for... More
My husband and I were down to Asbury Park enjoying the annual Music and Film Festival and checking out different restaurants and happened upon Langosta right on the boardwalk! A delightful mix of Asian food mixed with standard bar food. Atmosphere was a mix of bar, typical restaurant dining and then a nice couch loungey feel around the stage area.... More
Margaritas were terrible. Expensive and really not a good taste. Food was mediocre - we were expecting more given the authentic look and feel of the restaurant.
We had a healthy wait as the restaurant was very busy. The ricotta salad and the wedge salad were excellent as was the shrimp, hummus dish & crousant appetizer. We ordered martinis and mimosas and they were good too. We ordered a variety of entrees, Kolbe beef burghers, salmon, a Vietnam dish and everything was delicious today. We will return,... More
excellent vibe for a restaurant. food is great - but a little pricey once you start having drinks. you are on the boardwalk though, so you could say you are paying for the views - just be sure to get a table by the windows!
It's a bar and restaurant, with live Music most weekends. A good bar scene with a decent selection of draft beers. Wines are limited. Food is very good, wholesome food, well cooked and prepared and at a reasonable price. Excellent staff waiting on tables. Sushi is particularly good and the Curry is excellent. Great location right on the AP boardwalk.
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at the Langosta Lounge. We went to see Rocket 88 play and called ahead to reserve a table by the stage. We were greeted pleasantly by the owner who made some changes to get our table just right. It was perfect for watching the band. Goat cheese pizza was excellent as was the salad. We... More
Finally a wonderful sunny spring day just right for a day with camera and foodie friend and lunch by the ocean. Decided to share two sandwiches and still we each brought half a sandwich home. I ordered the ham and Brie panini and we both gobbled that up first. He was smart and asked for his half of the tuna... More
