STAY AWAY UNLESS YOUR RICH AND WANT AVERAGE FOOD.. no breakdown of the bill but yet they charged me $125 for oysters and a piece of f mahi and 2 drinks. Oysters were lacking flavor and the fish was average nothing special at all.

Party of 5 on a summer Friday evening - about an hour wait so they took our number and we went down the street for a beer - came back and our table was perfect - picnic table outside on Cookman - beautiful night -...excellent service - good food - cold drinksMore
Great spot to walk to....very noisy and industrial feel....food was okay....didnt find it to be anything exceptional...Service was very good
Stopped by for lunch. Cool place in a great location. Several seafood selections and a good beer list.
It looked like a cool place, but was just ok. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Oysters were good, but a bit pricy. Fish dinner and fish and chips were just ok, but bland. There was no octopus on the menu, which was a bummer. Overall,...just ok, probably wouldn't return.More
Food is pretty good but bring back the thick fries! Bigger portions would be nice, too. Tables are rather close together, kind of annoying. Service is nice.
The restaurant seemed very buzzing so we decided to give it a go with our friends. The food was disappointing, the octopus was chewy and the fish tacos were way too small. Service was friendly but rather slow. Also, the whole menu was very expensive....Even the kids pasta was very pricey for a simple marinara sauce. I wouldn't recommend it.More
We had a very pleasant dinner before walking across the Cookman Avenue to see a show at the house of Independents. The Tiki cocktails are tasty. The soup is rich and the Blackened Grouper Sandwich is well prepared. The staff is attentive.
Not exactly your seafood shack. Impressive seafood selection though quite expensive. Sat outside on the picnic tables during a summer cold spell. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and said so and generally did not engage the table. The wine list was extensive and catered to people...who were dining from the oceans. I am not sure I would return for the price point but was satisfied with the quality if the meal.More
Stay away from this dirty place! Prices are absurd for what you get. The chicken sandwich I had was raw in the middle. So many other choices in Asbury.
We stopped for small plates and ended up ordering clams, shrimp, oysters and whitefish dip. It was perfect, and the dirty martini was prepared with care.
Four of us dined last night. My mussels in a Fra Diablo sauce was the best mussels I’ve ever had. The Steamers and Crab Cakes were excellent as well. We will be back!
James the chef is always present and checking if everything is going well and people are happy. The food, happy hour, ambiance is always amazing to me! I love having this as my neighborhood spot!
6 of us came here for the first time on a Sunday at 4:30pm. We looked up the menu prior to coming and looked at splitting 2 of the what they call “kettle” of the crab between 5 of us. Since it was described as...“family style” and $45 each we thought this would be fine. However upon arrival we asked our server how many each would serve and we were told it would only feed 2. Bit off if you describe it as family style but it only serves 2 people. We ended up ordering 3 and it was the perfect size for 5. Comes with corn on the cob and barely any potatoes. Our other friend had a burger. Cannot fault the food it was very good. I liked the feel inside however it was very uncomfortable. Our table was cramped next to another table to the point where the backs of our chairs were touching when just sat there without having to maneuver when one of us needed to get out. The chairs were very uncomfortable and the table was too small for 6 of us. We just felt so cramped. The noise wasn’t great either it was very loud in there although played good music. The service also lacked. Our server was poor, not welcoming and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. To make it worse they added the tip to the check automatically which was 20% which I understand and most places we would tip that much but for the service we received we certainly wouldn’t have tipped the full 20% if we had a choice. Not to mention we were also charged a 3% processing fee. Overall it was a very overpriced place for what you get. We won’t be returning.More
Great meal here! Our server Molly was fantastic, very attentive and made good recommendations. Steven was also amazing and recommended the best barbecue sauce I have ever tried. Food was really tastey and the bloody mary with bacon and shrimp is so much fun! Will...definitely be back, if you want seafood this is the best spot in asbury.More
