One of the regular places for breakfast. It's good, fast and personal. Excellent friendly waitstaff. My wife and I both like the BLTE. A sandwich with bacon lettuce tomato and egg. It's relatively inexpensive for the area and give you the good feeling of salad at breakfast. They have some excellent soups. Take out is available.

My wife and I are residents of Chicago and visit the Avalon NJ shore annually each June. Without question, our favorite breakfast place is the Pudgie Pelican. Ron, the owner, and his staff are some of the friendliest and most professional hosts who make their guests always feel important, and like family. The food is of course wonderful and made... More

Great breakfast food. We each had omelets. The are very large and generously filled. The accompanying home fries were perfect and again a large portion. The side of bacon was crispy and yummy. The coffee was usual diner coffee, but refilled frequently. It was end of season so the one waitress was pleasant but way busy, there was some wait... More

This was a nice place with standard food items. The food was edible and surroundings clean. It does what it tries to do.

The sausage links look like they were left out in the sun and dried up. They taste worse than they look. The over medium egg's yolk was hard and the egg was burned. The tomato was cold and untie and the toast was cold and not buttered. Coffee was good, bacon delicious and so was the blueberry pancake. Service was... More

This restaurant never ceases to provide a great breakfast. This time we had Eggs Benedict, Vegetable Omelet and Blueberry Belgian Waffle. Judging by our empty plates, everyone enjoyed every last bite of their selection. Prices are reasonable and the ingredients and preparation are excellent. We heartily recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Breakfast of omelettes, waffles and bacon/eggs served hot and quickly y a charming, attentive waitress. Quickly took our orders, served coffee and tea...always pleasant. Served meals and sides without fanfare and took an order for a late arriving spouse, delivering that to the tables in minutes(obviously spoke to chef for help). Seems like a well oiled machine. Very crowded vacation... More
