I'm a bit baffled by Carlos's review below. Perhaps this was his first time in Moorea and he is simply unaware that many, even most, of the restaurants on the island provide pick-up from your hotel as a courtesy as taxis are exorbitantly expensive. Roger...More

We decided to get dinner out of the hotel. The owner picked us and 6 other guests from the hotel – a common curtesy in Tahiti - and drove us over to the restaurant. He did not speak much English, but was very very gracious...More

We visited most of the suggested restaurants on our visit. When we had visited them all Le Mahogany and Te Honu Iti were the top, with others good as well, but these were delightful! Both come and get you which makes the evening easy!!

Chez Roger at Te Honu Iti serves the best of foods in very pleasant surroundings. We visited him last year, and twice on our trip this year. Great food, great atmosphere with the sharks an stingrays swimming in the flooded light from the porch, and...More

They were kind enough to come pick us up at our hotel for dinner. The ambiance of the sharks and rays right near our table was great. But, unfortunately, the food was not good. The sliced Filet was not on the menu, the sirloin was...More

We stopped by on a recommendation from our French sunset sail guide, Jerome. It was a wed night and later we discovered from their brochure that they are actually closed on Wednesday’s?! We were the only 6 people there besides Roger (who was the server...More

I normally don’t like to say “don’t go or don’t try”. But this called Chez Roger, is one of the exceptions to be made. Roger, the owner, chefe and waiter, had the time to pick us himself on the Hilton Moorea. Sound strange? No, as...More

Roger greeted us for our wonderful night of Cooks Bay dining. We had the place to ourselves with the exception of the sharks and rays. The evening began with warm goats milk cheese salad. Sublime with just the right amount of cheese and croutons. We...More

Hi Alison, We ate at Te Honu Iti in March. They provided transport to and from. We stayed at the Hilton and it was about 10 min. Maybe 15-20 min from the InterContinental. Enjoy! It is good.
