Our starters where delicious and different, our main courses again did not disappoint in any way. It was sad that the two cheesecake options were unavailable especially after friend said... More

I could not fault the service, food quality and ambience of this place. There was nothing at all that was too much trouble for the staff and Lamin was very attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the cocktails we had and each was well presented and tasted just right. We had Ladyfish and Moussaka and both dishes were nicely presented... More

Your visit to the Gambia isn't complete without a meal at Gaya Art Cafe. The food is excellent and all the art at the cafe adds to the whole experience. The staff is very friendly and service focussed. Definitely try the amazing iced tea to get a nice refreshment from the Gambian heat.

Visited Gaya Art cafe twice whilst in The Gambia, once one afternoon for coffee and the most delicious passion fruit cheesecake... the best I've ever tasted. Then returned one evening for a delicious meal. The staff were incredible and so friendly.. also met the owner and had a nice chat. Will be returning here for sure.. recommend this beautiful restaurant.... More

Gaya is the perfect combination of food and atmosphere. Everything from the friendly staff, ambient music, great food, world-class coffee, deserts, and stunning decor. I always go for the Mousaka and struggle to find anywhere else that can produce anything close to it. My son always goes for the Tapas (great portions, flavors, and price). After years of eating at... More

Amazing fruity cocktails, nice terrace that feels quiet and cozy even though it's so close to the street and easy of access. Service is also cordial and always makes you feel welcome :)
