The two starters I asked fro were off the menu (they ran down to the supermarket for a tin of tuna when we asked for the tuna salad too). They'd be better to advertise as an Indian restaurant - The Indian food was tasty enough and we probably enjoyed this restaurant the most during our stay

Visited early March 2017. Although the various menus encompassed food from around the world we chose from the Indian menu which was interesting and varied. Starters were large, nicely presented and delicious. Mains were brought out on very hot plates which meant the food stayed hot right up to the last morsel - they were tasty and again of a... More

Dear Bob n Jill At times we don't know how to respond to such overwhelming reviews. We'ré almost blushing a shade not too different from the Tandoori spices. :-))) Thank you soo ever much and we look forward to your visits . 6 adults and 2 kids were there last Thursday. We had great food, and drinks and an excellent pianist singer, playing not too loudly but a great range. The staff were very attentive and the menu very extensive. The owner came and talked to us and sent a complimentary dessert. We finished with Irish coffee, which was as well made as... More

Dear Barry Thanks for that very warm review. Wish you and your group could've stayed longer. The weather here is indeed getting warmer (possibly far warmer than Belfast😃😃). The singer Kuts is indeed a good yet quiet singer and has been a friend since 2010 when we opened. He plays here thrice a week. We do hope you're able to... More

We were delighted to find this Restaurant during our recent stay in Gambia. We have been going to The Gambia for years but somehow hadn't heard of the Vineyard. We found it because we always try to listen to Ebu Kutz, musician when he plays at restaurants in the Kololi area, when we heard he was playing there 3 nights... More

Hello Jackie Thanks for the heads up. We do remember your enquiring after Kuts who was equally happy to see you too. It's quite encouraging that the response has been so warm (despite the weather on the terrace being a bit cool). We hope to see you soon in The Gambia again. Thank you again for taking time to write... More

Went in and had the Goan curry - and it was pretty close to the Xacuti that I love to eat when over in Goa. As is usual for Indian restaurants in Gambia whereas other establishments will price a main course including the rice here the rice is charged seperately
