I stumbled upon the place while driving to the SOuth of Goa. And boy, was I glad I did. Though it was past lunch time, they took us in when I made a sad face and said I m really hungry and that some simple food would do. We had prawn curry rice and sorptel-rice... simple, homely affiar with a... More

Pleasing and clean ambience with a homely touch. Nella who owns the place takes a special interest and on our request suggests fish cutlets which were outstanding. The garlic butter prawns, fish and chips, fish fry and the prawn curry rice all was very good but the cutlets were surely the winner! The caramel custard was the best I have had in... More

As we wandered from Benaulim towards Mabor beach, I spotted this restaurant with a caricature like Louie(:Louies's Place" of Talespin fame). It has a beautiful setting where they grow some unique fruits and even have a nursery. The restaurant had an earthly feeling with tlled roof and beautiful green canopy. We tried the passion fruit juice fresh from the garden.... More

We visited this place for dinner. Setting is decent, more like homely setting. However food was very good. Both, veg and Non veg werw very tasty, more towards authentic goan type. Price was also reasonable. And service was also good. It looked like run by family people. Over all very satisfying experience, and food was very good.

We (a family of 3) make a point of searching for new restaurants for goan cuisine every time we visit Goa. I can unequivocally say that Papa Joe's in Orlim is by far the best restaurant for goan food I have visited. the restaurant is a couple of minutes drive from the (Our Lady of Gloria) Church in Varca and... Lovely ambience, covered garden resturant. Laid back, do not expect speed. But the food is good and the taste is truly goan. The fish curry is a must have.

We always visit Papa Joe’s for a meal whenever we go to Goa. This is a covered garden restaurant surrounded by a lot of greenery and gives you the true ambience of dining at a Goan home. It is indeed the home of the Mirandas, and you are served by the family members themselves. The food is authentic and on... More

It's an amazing restaurant from the food to the ambiance and the lovely hostess Nella. For authentic goan lip smacking food... This is the place to be. From the mouth watering garlic prawns to the chicken cafreal, the simple prawn curry rice to the goan masala fried fish... Everything was awesome... Thanks Nella for the lovely food.

Thank Reshma T
