I am very happy to say that Drifters' Cafe in Old Manali HP India has just re opened after some time. I have been a customer there for decades. It's a great place to eat and they also have rooms for rent above the cafe....If you decide to visit say Namaste to Garima, Manesh, Ram and all the staff from me. (Frank)More

Worst experience ever. Worst service. Worst food. They brought small burger with cold patties and burnt cold fries after 30 minutes of wait. They didn't have the ingredients for burger. They didnt inform burger isnt possible right now. Somehow they arranged some patti to keep...in burger. When I told food is cold and burnt they really had no response. We left the place without eating anything food was so horible. And they had the courtesy to charge 400 for that. Omg it's loot. Even interior Is bad. Don't know for what they are charging 400 for such small burger which is sufficient for a 10 year kid. If cafe take money it's for vibe place and food. Here i got nothing. These looting should be banned.More

Came across this tittle cafe and inn on tripadvisor recommendation. This visit needed a detour from my route, I am glad I took that. I was greeted by a beautiful smile, fragrance of dhoop and 2 fluffy gorgeous doggos. We ordered the egg benedict and...eggs and sausages. The food was cooked to perfection. Pure delight. The ambience is very cosy and colorful, we took our time at this place and cought up with some office work! It's a must visit for all those who are looking for a little solace amidst the hustle of the touristy crowd.More

I had a terrible experience visiting this place. I went to eat breakfast there with my friends. Food quantity and quality is very low but over charged. Even 10% service charge even after I made a complaint to their waiter. Didn’t even give discount after...complaining. They are like they don’t give a damn about the complain. So disappointed.More

Always feels home coming to drifters. Love having breakfast in the cafe and the wifi connectivity is pretty good if you are working from home. The view from the rooms are amazing too. Also Sabby the labrador is my best friend now ❤️

We ordered 7-8 dishes. Very average food except the butter chicken pizza was good. And it went below average when Miss Garima stormed in and tried justifying an uncooked pasta. Was extremely rude and zero courtesy. Good luck finding new customers after all the trip...advisor reviews. Unfortunately we didn’t read it before going to the place.More

Food and eating: No free water glasses. Bottle costs Rs 50 Quality and taste is fine but the quantity I am pretty sure will disappoint you. Its very little despite being such highly priced. Ordered a pizza for which I had to pay extra for...each of the topping, someone need to relearn the fact that pizzas in itself comes with toppings. So you can't be selling pizza and charging extra for even basic topping like Mushroom, capsicums, tomatoes, etc. Staff: The lady (think she is the owner) needs to be polite with customers, she is damn rude. Staff somehow seems to be unhappy dealing nwith customers, no smiles. Billing: You are charged 10% service charges No UPI payments accepted (as on 15th June 2021) If you wish to pay through credit card, you need to shell out 2% extra (mind that you are paying 10% service charge already). All in all too much loot I felt Overall experience: There are other places which will serve you much better food with fair billing and smile on faces of the staff (and owner). Avoid this place, Its a big no no!!!!!More

I was here on Monday evening 29th March with my friends, first of all they were making faces when we asked for table, as they said most of them Are reserved which is fine coz I didn’t reserve one! Then later they gave us one...table, we ordered food drinks, food was decent and service was good! But after an hour or so their owner (a lady) comes to us and very rudely asked us if we have ordered anything further (we were already waiting for our order) and asked us to change the table coz she wanted to give our table to her known customers! When we refused to do so she started saying that she gave us a reserved table and all of that!! It was such a spoiler, why would a person behave with her own customer like that, for that matter if she would have requested decently we might have shifted our table! I think they should relearn the concept of “atithi devo bhawa”. It was not that I was just wasting time at table and not ordering anything, our table bill was more than 3k which looks pretty decent to me! I hope they would be more humble and respectful to their customers in future!More

Everything was trash I mean literally trash 1) The waiter ignored you until you say several time’s 2) The food takes 30 mins minimum to make 3) The quantity is as good as eating nothing 4) Ordered bruschetta looked like ordered stale garlic bread. Ordered...Nachos looked like ordered Extra Bad Sev Puri(Explanation given its “homemade”) . Ordered caesar Salad got very few quantity and they charged 150! for “adding” feta cheese in the salad (it wasn’t included D:) which seemed like wasn’t even included inspite of paying for it. Ordered honey chilli fries,it was literally chilli fries without honey. In short don’t go there u less you wanna eat less while paying extra. 5) Singer wasn’t that great (cannot say much as it’s only occasionally).Maximum rank 50%. Rest of the time he was busy adjusting the mike and his speaker, he took literally 45mins-1hr to only adjust his instrument, mic and speaker!! In short go here only if you wish to eat less and pay extra, wait a lot for not worth it food. 6) Water cost Rs.50!!, Normally Restaurants still server water in glass for free but that wasn’t included sadly 7) One good thing is that was great was bottled Aquafina water!More

As soon as we entered, there was a dog roaming close to the kitchen area. The waiters were petting the dog before delivering the food. Im a dog lover but this is simply unhygenic. there was too much oil in the pasta and I almost...puked later. This place has an extremely amazing Vibes, Good music and a class crowd. This place gives a complete feel, that one seeks while visiting Himachal/Parvati valley. Pls put this place in your bucket list while visiting Manali Food was delicious and it's one of the...few cafe in Manali serving alcohol and Howkah. We were slightly disappointed with the slow service, that's cuz they have only 2manpower taking orders and serving, to the completely packed place.More
