Basic restaurant, serving good food. Has balcony overlooking road, quite a pleasant place to sit and eat and watch what is going on.

For us, holidays revolve around great food and we were delighted to find Talk of the Town. We ate there twice on our visit to Fort Cochin, and despite a wait of 40 minutes, it was absolutely worth it. I think the fact that the restaurant was full both times (locals and tourists) just goes to show its popularity. The... More

We decided to abandon the guide book and take a chance on a restaurant on our walk around town. We came upon Talk of the Town and were drawn in by it's bright and breezy look. The menu was simple and with reasonable prices. Between us, we ordered the local fish curry and a Kerala Avial dish. Both were absolutely... More

The restaurants we fancied were all full beyond capacity so we were forced to try out Talk of the town. Its is a family run restaurant and I suspect the kitchen too is manned bu the family. The food takes really long to be served and it is not that cheap. We paid INR 900 for 2 soft drinks ,... More

We enjoyed our evening at Talk of The Town, and had a very good meal. Lovely mother, grandmother and children. Felt like eating in someone's home, as opposed to a restaurant, which was a plus for us.

The food was alright but service was very slow. We had to wait for a good 45min for a butter chicken. Prawn curry was not available due to lack of ingredients.

Not going to say it's the best food we've have in India however it's worth the money and the owners are really nice. Definitely worth a visit!

From the street it looked packed but as we got upstairs you could see the only few tables were by the window! We ordered uncomplicated meals which took over an hour to arrive and food was average. They got our order wrong and the elderly woman was pretty rude. We were disappointed with our experience here

The small amount food we ordered took over an hour and was basic. The older lady at the counter then was rude. Wouldn't recommend it.
