Expensive food but barely edible

Expensive food but barely edible. Stay clear - Tourist trap! We sat down here for dinner as it is the first massive restaurant when you are walking on the beach from where the cabs drop. Should have checked the reviews first but we were with a kid who was hungry and tired so sat down here going by face value. Jimbaran is famous for sea food and hence when you sit down you want to try all the sea food and they have a perfect set menu for that, and staff selling the. It is expensive though - 1.4 MILLION Rupiah (US $95) including taxes for TWO people, without alcohol. However, we had lot of food left. Pretty sure it was enough for 3 people. The set menu had fish, lobster, prawn, calamari, prawns, oysters, etc, all grilled. All of the food was OVERCOOKED and chewy, with barely any seasoning. We eat a lot of sea food at home and outside and believe me when I say it was overcooked. Location: The setting is lovely but it is the same for any other restaurant in this area - tables are on the beach, looking at the sunset and planes landing in the distance (Denpasar airport). A local band comes and play at everybody's tables one by one for tips. Btw, the boy serving us was great. I mean he was selling the menu that he was told to sell but he called us a cab when we were finished, and carried our pram to the cab.

Unreal overpriced restaurant for low quality of food

The taxi driver brought us here and unfortunately we did not check the reviews before eating. The food is mediocre and low level, waiters are rude and just trying to upsell all kind of things. The prices are absolutely crazy. The most expensive place during our whole trip of one week in Bali. Unreal! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT

Avoid terrible service

We ordered rhe set menu which came with 4 beers, we never got the beers and when asked for them was told the'd take the price of our previous drinks off the bill ! (2 cans coke) The crab looked like someone had already tried to eat it, the fish overcooked and lobster small and rubbery. We tried to complain but they were not interested, so we got our driver to speak to them they too 10%off the bill. Over priced for mediocre meal. We'd been to the intercontinental the might before and paid slight more for a 5** service and atmosphere. My recommendation would be don't bother watch sunset by sitting on beach !!

The BEST seafood.

We had an early dinner. We arrived around 5:30 PM, the weather was nice and we ordered 2 fish and 500 grams of prawns. It was kooked to order, very crispy and delicious 😋. The service was excellent and just before dinner was served, a rain ☔ poured and we had to run inside for cover and all the food was moved indoors. Great food and nice staff. Thanks to ALL.

Overpriced & Tasteless Seafood

Extremely EXPENSIVE SEAFOOD! 933k for 2 average-size meals. 3 King prawns 200k, 1.3g Snapper 351k, 500g warm Calamari 130k. If you have a food allergy, then avoid here. The beach sunset, roaming musicians and the friendly staff are the best thing. The Tourist drivers take you here and get a cut. It would be better to go with your driver to a night market and ask them to order food for you, this would be more authentic and a better experience. 2% charge for Visa - 18k We will stick to Warungs for authentic local meals where the owners make the money for their families.

Very Very Poor

The saff were just rude, the food was over price. They kept trying to up sell us, then told us the only menu available was the most expensive one. Saying that there would be at least one hour waiting to eat. Find another restaurant.

Bad Experience At Jimbaran

Salted egg squid bad. Clam in Padang Sauce are not cooked well. Prawns in Padang Sauce, cooked from scratch. The best thing is the onion sambal. After that you will be surprised at the price you have to pay for the quality of the food like that.

TOURIST TRAP : avoid avoid avoid !!!!!!!!

We actually came to the fish market first before deciding to come to this restaurant because we thought it would be slightly more expensive than the actual fish market. They over charged us : the service is very poor. they over cooked the shellfish. crab and lobster barley had any meat. Complete TOURIST TRAP!!!!!!! We were two people and we paid almost 300 USD (a lot of money in Bali) for a mediocre meal. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

Nice place to sit and eat average food

So as we were staying in Jimbaren bay we kind of felt we needed to try one of the seafood buffets on the beach. The best point was that it is lovely to sit on the beach for a meal and watch the sunset. On the other hand it would be kind to say the food was average (irrespective of the price). Most was over cooked with some dishes ok but nothing to write home about. Bottom line this is not the kind of place you come back to once the box is ticked.

Incredibly expensive mediocre restaurant focused on trapping tourists

Very expensive (three times as expensive as comparable restaurants in Jimbalam). Similar to many other stories, we were brought here by a driver, who parked us literally in the restaurant. It felt like we had no other option than eating here. Food quality was mediocre, the price quality ratio ridiculously bad.

Overpriced and overcooked

Was recommended by tour guide, unfortunately way more expensive than we expected. Over $120 Australian to feed two people, most expensive meal I've ever eaten in my life and one of the worst fish and chips I've had. Maybe I'm spoiled by the amazing fish and prawns available in Australia, but the fish was very low quality and dry, and the king prawns were overcooked. Some people praise the view and the music, but we had a busy day and arrived after sunset so there was no view and no band, not even music on a radio or anything. Sat eating our bad fish in silence while watching dark beach. The staff were lovely though, our waiter tried his best to help us with the menu so we weren't ripped off too badly. If the food was nicer it might be worth it to get an assortment platter and have a group of 6+ to split the costs

Tourist scam - rip off!

Complete rip off!!! Prices more than what we would pay in Australia. We were dropped off by a taxi driver (obviously in on the scam). Suspect they have a separate ‘tourist’ menu as there were plenty of locals dining there. We did enjoy some of the food, and our waiter was good, however wish we had the read the reviews beforehand and kept walking down the beach to one of the other cafes.

Tourist rip-off and rude Managing Director at the entrance

Quality of food: low Staff: unprofessional, especially Managing Diector Prices: Higher than expected (Prices on bill not matching order prices) Location: not bad, but not possible to enjoy due to obstrusive music band which is annoying all guests This "restaurant" was my first negative experience on Bali ever! I really love Bali, but this restaurant is a SHAME for Bali! I will never come back!

Beware do not go to this place it's a Fraud!!!!

the worst experience, BEWARE!!!! They have an agreement with the taxi drivers, they will recommend this place. when you arrive you realize that you are in front of the beach with a lot of garbage around, the service is lousy and super expensive for what we received. additionally they charged us 21% tax + 4% for using the card.

Too expensive, not fesh seq food.

This restaurant was recommended by my driver. Unfortunately, I found this restaurant way too expensive. We has only 1 kg of squid for IDR 260 K, shell perhaps only 6 pieces small one including rice 2 ice tea and 1 small bottle of Bintang beer cost me almost 600 K. The fish is not even fresh either. Please improve your quality. I would not recommend this restaurant
