As always Poppies Restaurant was magnificent on our last trip. It’s our tradition to eat here on our first night in Bali and we intend to continue with that. Their Rijsttafel and Pisang Goreng are top notch. The only slight downer is it’s a pain...More

Mostly great food (western food not so much), portions a bit on the smaller side for the price though. Recommendable anyhow.

Great cosy atmosphere, great menu, friendly staff, and generous portions. What's not to like? It's not cheap, but it's totally worth the (still really cheap by European standards) price! We're going to eat here again on our last evening in Bali!

Amazing atmosphere and food. This was one of the highlights of our stays in Kuta. We had the rice table which is a platter of 9 dishes plus sides and dessert which allows you to experience many types of Indonesian food in one night. It...More

The food is amazing. The ambience is great any time of day. Cocktails are to die for. Set in a narrow Lane in Kuta this has got to be one of my all-time favourite restaurants in Bali. Love it!!

We had a delightful meal tonight in probably one of the nicest atmospheres one will find in a busy city. The gardens and setting are indeed a vast change to what lies outside Poppies walls on the busy lane Poppy 1. So different to have...More

Poppies is off the legian road. I love the place, it’s peaceful, it’s mainly outdoors, lovely fish ponds and Balinese decorations. I had the nasi campur, lumpia goreng and barong pina colada. Food was delicious and friendly service. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

Description
For over four decades we have welcomed visitors and friends from around the world to these hanging gardens of Kuta, offering them fine dining and calming respite from the ever-increasing hustle and bustle beyond our walls.
