Plenty of fluffy, friendly and sleepy cats to spend time with. Coffee is good too. I'd go again. Nice staff. Fair prices.

Lovely cats but I was really really really hot inside. They charge a fee so I think that AC should be working better. If it was too hot for me I think it was too hot for the beautiful fluffy cats.

We had a wonderful experience at the cat cafe. We were the only people there and entered to find all the cats happily napping or grooming. As soon as I sat down one climbed into my lap and went to sleep. The cats are well...looked after and fully vaccinated and desexed (which is no mean feat in Bali!). I didn’t find the smell of cat urine at all. I love that there is someone in Bali looking after the cats!More

I stumbled upon this place in my wanderings around the area and I love cat cafes, especially when I'm missing my feline companion 10,000 miles away. As soon as I walked in I immediately noticed the smell of cats. The area itself seems a bit...too small for the amount of cats that were out and noticed the lack of climbing shelves, toys, soft cat beds. In all the other places I have been to back in the UK, there is an abundance of space, levels and tunnels for the cats, which makes them feel safe. The place itself is a bit run down and could do with painting, new furniture and the little touches that make cat cafes so special. The cats themselves were quite lethargic. They didn't seem to like too much attention like being stroked on the head but would tolerate a back stroke. They did seem on the thin side and a bit dirty. There wasn't much activity but I did notice all the cats were cleaning themselves excessively, which is a sign of stress. The coffee was nice but I wouldn't order any food as the cats were roaming on the counters. Overall, it is a adequate place but I think they need to be more selective about the cats they use and makes sure the cats are indoor cats who like human interaction and more needs to be done with the space to make it more cat friendly and appealingMore

I was excited to visit this cafe. However, the first thing that greeted me as I was walking up the stairs to the entrance was the smell of cat urine. Upon entering the cafe, both my husband and I commented how dirty it felt. The...whole place could use a good clean and fresh paint on the walls. As a former veterinary nurse, I also noticed how most of the cats did not appear very healthy. A few had very runny noses. There was a small separate room where one very old cat was kept. We went in to visit and it kept meowing to get out. I asked the waiter if we could let it out and he said no. Not sure why he was kept isolated but there was no litter box for him. I think that with more effort put into revamping the place and proper attention on the health of the cats, this could be a great place. Would I go back...no. It was an experience but I ended up feeling more sad than happy for the cats.More

My partner and I are frequent cat cafe visitors when abroad, and Cat Cafe Ubud did not disappoint! Two furry babies greeted us immediately upon arrival with others showing interest. All in all, some of the friendliest cats we’ve encountered at a cafe. Contrary to...some previous reviews, there are plenty of cats to snuggle, appear to be well taken care of, and cat smell on par for a small room with 11 cat inhabitants (noticeable but not overwhelming). Only disappointment was that we couldn’t purchase treats for cats today (probably because they’ve had enough!). 13/10 would return.More

Really cute and quiet place! When I went here, I was the only customer, so I had the cats all to myself. They take a while to get used to you, but if you're patient, they'll be more than happy to be your friend! There...were about 10 big and fluuuuffy cats!!! Seemed to be well-groomed and well-fed. I was so so happy, being a huge cat person myself. Entrance fee is around 34k, if I'm not mistaken. It's 48k if you're going to order something from their menu. I got their iced black tea and it was alright. :) I spent around 30 minutes here. It was really relaxing. Would definitely go visit again!More

We stumbled upon this place lookin for dinner and ended up staying for half an hour or so playing with the cats. Price is 35k entry or 48k with a choice of basic food and drinks (add 10k for bin tang). Service etc is also...on top. Lots of cats, they all seem well looked after granted they are also not the most active animals either. Lots of sits in their own space loving pats. Perfect for what we were looking for , if you wanted active jumpy kittens this isn’t the place for you though :)More

I’ve been in Bali a couple of months, and my own cats are in New Zealand.. I miss them so much I decided to pay a visit to the cat cafe. Despite a couple of not so great reviews which I read on trip advisor...before I went, I don’t agree with them. The Cat Cafe was clean and didn’t smell at all. The cats are so pretty to look at (remind me of mine) although they aren’t really the kind of cats you pick up and give a huge cuddle (although I wouldn’t do that to cats I’ve just met, regardless - which I guess some people do expect from this place) they were friendly and sometimes come to sit on you. Very happy with my experience, I’ve visited more than once.More

Went by to grab something to drink. Ordered a juice which turned out to be just carton juice. The cats were not interested in you at all. Some of them even hissed at a man who tried to pet them. They weren’t aggressive, but just...not cuddly at all. Disappointed...More

The Cat Cafe is on the 2nd floor. As we climbed up the stairs, we were greeted by a bad STENCH. At the entrance of the Cafe, we were told to choose our slippers from a pile of FILTHY looking slippers stacked one on top...of the other. As with any cat Cafe we were briefed and among other things, we had to wash our hands before we entered. The sink was filthy with grim and smelled really bad (now I know where the smell was from, Yaks !) Upon entering, we saw 2 guys behind the counter and only 11 cats in total; they look much of the same breed. From their fur condition, they were obviously not groomed, looked quite dirty and didn't smell good. Some seemed to also have a skin infection! The furniture, sofa and cushion sets were pathetically old and stained (nothing like photo) we didn't even dare to sit on them. There were cobwebs, dust, dirt here and there....definitely a less than desirable place for cats. When we accidentally overturned a small jar of milk meant for our coffee, the cats rushed onto the table and started licking it. Twice we called out to the staff to have the table cleaned but nobody came.....we were the only customers in the medium sized room. A very disappointing experience!More

Kafe Kucing is a small cafe that has the most beautiful cats just lying around the place some of them are laying near the windows soaking up the sun some are on the lounge sleeping mostly they are all just chilling out just waiting for...your attention and loving pats . Although it's named as a cafe I must tell you that they don't serve coffee but do have delicious mixed juices. I mostly went there just to hang out with the cats I love cats and it was so cool to have them hanging around everywhere and looking for your affection. The place did not smell and all the cats where very well looked after and very content . I spent almost 1 hour with all the cats at one stage I had like 5 of them all vying for my attention which made me feel very special . If you love cats go there and check it out I found it to be a great experience I really enjoyed spending time with these very special cats and leave a generous donation so the cats get to have everything they need.If you love cats it a must do while you are in Ubud a great experience that's for sure .More
