I have always loved Indus, but this time I was disappointed. I went with a party of four and being a foodie was excited about eating here again. I was so disappointed. After raving about it to my friends, we all had a very average meal, mine was actually below average. The duck looked like an unskilled tradie had taken... More

Our driver took us there and we had a very nice lunch with the well described great view of the valley. The chicken satays with the peanut sauce were nice, but nothing exciting. Our friends got the sampler which they seemed to enjoy. Service was a little slow, but they were nice. Overall a positive experience and I would go... More

We decided to have brunch at Indus as we heard it has an amazing view. Indeed it’s wonderful to sit out on the breezy terrace and enjoy the expansive, lush green scenery around. I ordered one of the vegetarian dishes on the menu and took one bite of the tofu which tasted horrendous as it was burnt. The restaurant kindly... More

Indus restaurant located in Sanggingan Ubud have very beautiful view, went there for lunch with my family and we really enjoyed the moment, we had good service, good food and were seated near the edge to have beautiful panoramas. We ordered chicken curry with a little bit spicy, tasmanian grill fish was excellent. Our dessert lemon tart was delicious. Only... More

Salsa night there every friday and monday with an amazing local salsa band ! From 7:30pm to 10pm. Possibility to dance, but hard to switch partner, or hard to dance if you are alone. Many local people that are there with salsa teacher or with agreement with other dancer. The ambiance is really nice, the view from the terrace is... More

The restaurant has an amazing view, however when things go wrong the servers clearly do not know how to deal with it. Orders a bottle of wine, did not have it, so they brought out a bottle they had. Good thing I asked the price as it was almost double the one I selected. We decided to go with a... More

Yes, a fabulous view, but more importantly great food. We have been eating at the Indus for about 15 years and while it seems to have its up and downs, and sometimes the service can be a bit off-hand, the food is always good. This visit it was fantastic. Delicious Indonesian dishes which have been made-over for the European taste.... More

Been here before and always enjoyed it. Staff are super friendly. Beautiful mountain view when clear. Not expensive, food good, a little above average. I had the turmeric fish and chips. Does not look too good with the turmeric coloring but was an excellent piece of fish, moist and flakey. Good potatoes and very good slaw. The seafood fettuccine was... More

We have dined at Indus numerous times when visiting Ubud. The food , service & setting is absolutely perfect for a lazy lunch overlooking the Tjampuhan river & distant hills. Indus was again excellent we enjoyed a variety of dishes which were all very tasty . The decor is charming with large columns, marble floors , timber tables & stylish... More
