Beautiful Gelato with great choice, with a number of quirky variations as well as all of the old favourites. Well worth a visit after a hot day exploring Ubud

Came here a few times during our visits to Ubud. This place is particularly recommended above the other Gelato places in the town on our 'Lonely Planet' guide, so we have it a whirl and kept coming back on every visit! The variety of odd flavours is brilliant - they have some big standard flavours, but the best tasting to... More

We went every day while in Ubud, favourite flavours were salted caramel, passionfruit and the decadent chocolate. Servings could be a little more generous for the price, 2 scoops 30000rp 3scoops 45000rp. Definitely worth trying

Many flavours to choose from! Maybe I picked the wrong ones? Tiramisu, honeycomb and cheesecake all a bit bland for my taste I'm afraid. Portions are very small! Three "scopes" fit in a tiny cup. In this case maybe a blessing in disguise.

I visited Gelato Secrets everyday of my stay in Ubud. So many flavours to choose from! I like that you can have two flavours even if you choose a small ice cream.

The gelato here is tasty but the portion size is absurdly small. They use a flat scoop vice a curved one. Stop by and have a good laugh!

It is definitely delicious, they have many flavors and also love how they make the cones their. The only downside is the portion because it's a a real small scoop but other than that it was delicious!

The scoops are tiny it's barely a double scoop it's more like just under one. Save your pennies for another gelato place.

At Gelato Secrets, we have dedicated our lives to creating the most exquisite gelato and sorbetto we possibly can. Inspired by our childhood memories and a shared love and passion for gelato, we first brought this wonderful classic Italian treat to Bali with our inaugural gelato shop in Ubud in 2009. Our secret is simple: we use only 100% natural, fresh ingredients from carefully selected suppliers, free from artificial flavouring, colouring and preservatives, comprising both Italian classics and exotic Indonesian flavours derived from seasonal local fruits and spices. We then highlight these premium ingredients in our innovative, avant-garde gelato and sorbetto with our signature twist, lovingly created from authentic, traditional Italian recipes and meticulously crafted by expert artisan hands to achieve the purest of flavours, allowing the natural essence of each ingredient to shine through. The proof is in each sinfully creamy scoop balanced on our yummy homemade waffle cone (or in a cup). Delicious, wholesome and innovative, you will be taken on an exquisite sweet journey with our original homemade gelato and non-dairy sorbetto. Life is a sweet offering!
