We came here 4-5 times during our two-week holiday in Ubud because we love the food so much. It's a wide selection of various Indonesian cooking from Balinese, Javanese, to Sulawesi. The pre-cooked selection is excellent. I had fun mixing and matching all the tasty veggies, tempe, corn fritter, topped with sambal matah every time i come there. But the... More

Very happy to rediscover my old favorite on Jalan Made Lebah. They've just reopened in this new location. Easily found, across the road from ARMA museum south entrance. Dekicious indonesian vegetarian options!

Beautifully done tempeh satay and caramelized crispy tempeh with a choice of precooked dishes (lots of veggie options). Perfect vegetarian joint. Loved it! New location right down the entrance of the Arma museum. Enjoy!

We visited Ubud with some friends and his last name is actually Lada so we thought it would be cool to eat a place with his name. Apparently lada means spicy so the food here was supposed to be spicy. Being Mexican American and used to eating hot foods, I didn’t really notice the spice from the dishes. The place... More

Have been wanting to try for a while and when I stopped by for lunch, I wasn't disappointed. The menu looks good but I couldn't resist the Indonesian buffet lunch, it all looked so delicious. They offer you a CHOICE of white or brown nasi (looks actually like red rice, even better) and the chicken, steamed vegetables and stirfry was... More

Good local food in buffet. Get there early for largest freshest selection. It's a favorite with locals. Nice sitting upstairs or get bungis (take away) to eat at home. Reasonable prices especially if you are vegetarian. If you order off the menu do not expect it to be as inexpensive as the buffet or FAST food - each order is... More

You can order from the menu or from a choice of precooked food. Too bad, when we arrived for dinner, not much left in the precooked food window. So, we ordered from the menu. Too our surprise the price on the menu is not even near to 'warung' price; a cafe is. Still it's excluding the tax. The taste is... More

Lada Warung offers white or brown (nasi merah) options, just point to the dishes you want with your rice. I like that they have chicken and fish options, good choices of vegetables, corn or potato fritters (perkedel) and 3 different sambal options.

You can order from the bain marie or fresh off the a la carte menu. We saw people walk out after checking out the warm precooked food we didn't eat. Order yourself a large Bintang and enjoy a fresh, delicious and well cooked local dish plus service comes with a smile.
