Okay so after last visiting 40 years ago I was not expecting Ubud to have changed so much - or offer an authentic Italian menu in a great location. We got there at 19:15 and got the key table before a long queue started. Service...was fab considering the place was full. Food was even better - great wood fired pizza and super pastas (al dente and freshly made). This restaurant gets max points because of quality of food and service and also it’s ambiance- great for family or friends - young or old.More

When I complained they apologized and said they would fix it and then brought it back...without changing anything They apologized that it wasn’t any better and I told them I didn’t want it if they couldn’t make it at least smokeable and they charged me for it anywaysMore

The pizzas aren't particularly expensive, and Mamma Mia's has that grungy lived in look that says countless people have eaten here, but I was left very underwhelmed. I rendered bruscetta followed by a seafood marinara pizza. The bruscetta was nice but the pizza came out...first. The pizza was incredibly bland, in fact if I had blind tasted it, I couldn't have told you what was on it. Contrarmst that with a seafood pizza I ate at Milk & Madu (also in Ubud) , which was more exoensive but absolutely delicious. There are a lot better restaurants just metres away on Jl. Raya Pengosekan where Mamma Mia's is located.More

We went here for dinner and ate pizza and salad. It was very tasty and decent prices. The place is nicely decorated and staff very polite.

One of my favorite place to eat pizza in Ubud. Tried the quattro formaggi pizza, its so cheese and tasty. The staff are friendly.

The pic below shows how empty it was on a Sunday for my lunch visit, the staff were disinterested in serving you, they prefer to be in the computer or talking amongst themselves. The Crostini apetizer was really nice and came out in reasonable time....The spaghetti bolognaise was average at best with hardly any meat and tasted like packet spaghetti. I ate 3 mouthfuls then sent it back.great quality sliced parmasan cheese though. Thats all i ate. Ordered a milkshake and the waitress didnt even give me a straw, i had to approah the staff nemeber in the kitchen for a straw while my waitress was playing with the PC. This place looks like it has good pizza from all the reviews maybe i got gbem in a bad day who knows. La Osteria around the corner for me, attentive and friendly service and super premium Italian pizza and quality pasta with Lemincello as well. Overall dissapointing ataff couldnt care less, have no idea.More

What a gem of a restaurant. The pizzas are great, simple toppings but the crust and sauce are so good. Warm friendly service and great atmosphere.

We got lucky, just walking in off the street hungry because we saw the wood fired oven and we were not disappointed! I am originally from Brooklyn, home of the best pizzas in America, and I have to say this place holds up! We got...the four cheese pizza with added olives and Italian sausage and it was delicious. Thin crust, smokey Wood-Fired flavor and quality ingredients. We also got the garlic bread which was buttery and garlicky just as it should be and pineapple juice which was fresh made and wonderful. We are definitely saving this place to order again!More

Great wood fired pizza in an ‘authentic’ Italian pizzeria - in Ubud! Quick service. The only off putting aspect was some older dude sitting behind me (? Owner) barking orders at the kitchen staff!

No need to say much more: The Mamma Mia prepared the best pizza in Bali. Pasta is also very nice (Aglio & Olio). Great place for couples, friends and families!
