It is a cute cosy cafe in the Penestanan area. Nice to sit there during the day. It has a variety of organic and vegan food. Also the offer lunch and dinner. It is quiet there. The staff is a little slow.

I went to café Vespa for some lunch and had the avocado smoothie and pumpkin dosa. It was delicious! The smoothie came right away and I didn't have to wait long for the food which I've had to in many other places. It was a lot of food too so you don't have to worry about not being full afterwards.

Vespa is a charming little cafe with decor in a trendy retro style. For those times when you've had enough noodles, rice and Nasi Campur, it serves delicious quiches, great salads, good coffee, and excellent cake (as well as a large range of breakfast and lunch dishes.

Had dinner here. Although it looks a bit ordinary on the outside the food was very yummy. The cafe is very clean and the menu quite broad considering it is in such a quiet area. Unfortunately it only has a couple of fans so it can be very hot and sticky. They also only do cash. Service was great. They... More

A nice place I like to return too. The coffee is one of the best I've had and they have really yummy indian pancakes. Many friends hang out here, a great place to meet at! Can get a bit warm, but hey it's Bali!

Really delicious and healthy food. Very good 'brunch' type menu and the bircher oats made my mornings. They also serve huge bottles of kombucha.

In December 2011, after the renovation of a disused picture gallery in the small village of Penestanan Kaja, near Ubud, Bali, Cafe Vespa opened its doors to the general public. The space could be described as small, unintimidating and relaxing, with friendly and efficient staff. Our in-house bakery provides fresh bread, croissants and cakes, with the kitchen also cooking up a varied breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Cafe Vespa prides itself, in what we believe to be one of the best coffees in Bali. We describe it as a velvety, full-bodied, artisan style coffee, prevalent in cafes from London to Australia. Our own 100% Arabica blend of Indonesian Toraja, Aceh Gao and Bali Kintamani is roasted to our specifications and delivered freshly roasted to us each week. For additional freshness each cup is freshly ground and served with the best quality milk. For those who do not do coffee, Vespa also has one of the best choices of teas, both healthy and classic. For the fruit and veggie drinkers there's a great range of sugar and ice-free juices. From a cultural standpoint Cafe Vespa not only provides great food and beverages but also serves as a centre for social interaction: the cafe gives visitors a place to congregate, talk, write, read, entertain one another, or pass the time on an ipad. The WiFi is also pretty good.
