Do go during the daytime, so to appreciate the garden. The foods are good, just a bit pricey. The waitress are very friendly and attentive.

Came here as was recommended to us by someone we spoke to on street. Have to say it is lovely ambience but the food wasn't great. Spring rolls weren't crispy, Wayan special salad had cold pumpkin, beans, carrot, cauliflower, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, cheese, onion, bacon...More

Very Western establishment. Not what you go to Ubud to see or experience. Not cheap either. Food was not anything special. Cakes were overpriced.

Delicious food. Great service. Gorgeous restaurant and garden. They had several vegetarian options which I really appreciated. I had the veggie Thai spring rolls and they were fresh and tasty.

Extremely tastefull food. We went 3 times in 7 days and we wish to have time to go more. You should try the Sunday buffet ( more than 20 different plates and all delicious). It's not expensive.

Hi Vextar. We went in the evening and it was stunning. Try to book one of the low serving tables ( no chairs) as this made the experience even better. Enjoy your holiday 👍🏻

Cafe Wayan and Bakery Established in 1986 We are happy to have had so many nice guests come to enjoy our food for over 31 years. Cafe Wayan started as a small warung (a local food stall) where Ibu Wayan sold black rice pudding and coffee to the rice farmers on what has now become Monkey Forest Road. Tourist began walking down "the path" to the Monkey Forest and stopped by for a coffee, snacks or to buy peanuts for the monkeys. Ibu Wayans always love to cook as a child and soon the menu began to expand. Return friends to Ubud began helping with recipes of western dishes as long term visitors and residents sometimes miss their own food too. Ibu Wayan began traveling abroad and learned more western cooking with Chef Joe Schultz of India Joes's restaurant in Santa Cruz, California and also learned the art of Thai cuisine in Bangkok.
