Once we tasted the cold coffee here we became diehard fans. Nothing short of amazing. Now each time i walk past its difficult to resist the temptation.Nobody makes it like they do - starbucks would be out of business if folks realised what these guys coffee tastes like. sadly after drinking this coffee , appetising as their desserts look I... Dear Ashok How truly wonderful to receive your lovely comments! And of course I agree :) If I had the marketing budget of Starbucks i could surely bring to fruition your Starbucks challenge. Funnily enough I wrote about the opening of Starbucks in Ubud in the Jakarta Post a few years ago. Anyway thanks for your support. See you at... More

If Ubud is getting too busy, a quiet time enjoying some tasty satays with a fresh fruit juice in Casa Luna is great. If you like cakes, the Paris matchsticks/ vanilla slices are creamy and yummy.

Excellent desserts, probably the only good place in Ubud for dessert. Really good coffee too, nice service, and a fair price. Recommended!

Bit of a bizarre lunch experience here. Ordered pumpkin pasta to be told 20 mins later none left. Then ordered fettuccine. Husbands meal came. Mine didn't. Then 10 mins later pumpkin pasta arrived. Saying that lovely food. Served with an element of surprise.

Dear Pablo Thanks so much for your review. Running a restaurant can certainly be an interesting experience in Bali and one where we must always keep a sense of humour. Thanks for being sweet amidst Fawlty Towers-like confusion!! Best wishes Janet More

Have had the most delicious food here. From happy hour cocktails the ginger and lime ale is so refreshing. The coffee is great and the chicken and spinach broth is so refreshing. For Easter Sunday we had the most delicious hot cross buns. Just amazing!!!

Ate there twice during our visit to Ubud. Nice 2 for one happy hour specials on cocktails, delectable pastries (try the papaya lemon meringue tart). The restaurant/bar covers 3(?) different floors; go to the back for a table overlooking overlooking the river (great for a peaceful lunch). Food and juices are healthy and delicious using fresh ingredients; dishes served in... More

We used to LOVE casa luna. The atmosphere, the food... the chicken with sesame mash was on our mind when we returned to Ubud after one year. It was so dissapointing!!! The chicken, no longer on the menu... new food... blant and without the flavors... found hair in food, and instead of the waitress apologising and taking it back she... More

Dear Oculus Thanks so much for your review. Have no fear, the soy-glazed chicken is now back on the specials menu. I actually love it too. And we are so sorry about the unpleasant staff. But we do hope to see you next time. Please return next time as my guest for a complimentary dinner where we promise to dish... More

Still sitting here in the airy dining room of casa Luna while writing this review, utterly content. The restaurant itself is beautiful, opening up to lush green foliage in the back and overlooking the bar downstairs - a welcome relief from the scorching heat outside. The staff are friendly and efficient. And the food - the food is amazing! We... More
