We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it did not disappoint! A really friendly waiter Akbar helped out with English translation of menu and gave us lots of information about city and Indonesia. Food was superb - best we have had since coming to Indonesia a week ago. The setting is also fabulous - museum like with lots... More

We went here to celebrate my son's birthday on our 1st day in Malang. The place is so cosy and unique. The food served was so good and tasty. The staff were so friendly and cheerful. It was such a memorable moment and best place to celebrate special occasion. Live performance too.

They try to make this a museum kind of restaurant, but I don't think they managed it well. The food served was ok.

Stunning place -an absolute MUST visit when in Malang. This place took my breath away 😍 housed in what looks like an old theatre, it is packed with antiques and artefacts which reflect the rich heritage of Java. Couldn't help but think this place would blow the hipster joints in London's east end well out of the water! The main... More

I arrived around 1.30 pm, which should be perfect for lunch time service. I had high expectation since the review was above average but it turned out to be nightmare. No staff to welcome the guests, the waiter i had to call myself came with a moan, and food delivery was rude. The taste of the meal i ordered (Nasi... More

The place is amazing. There are so many old stuff here that looks like in the museum. The taste is good enouh, but the place is hot, cause the ventilation too small. At night, there is music performance and dance over there and we can sing along with them.

If you're into traditional ambience and food, this is the place. Put the Pecel Terong (Eggplant with peanut sauce) and their Sambal Bawang (chili with onion) to your menu. A local friend of mine said they usually have a traditional javanese band but I forgot to ask when. One thing that disappointed me was there was no one to greet... More

the place was comfortable with delicious food, it seems perfect.. the price was fine for family gathering, but for personal was rather expensive... for new people, there was no sign, so we would feel confuse when first time enter this restaurant expecially in dinner time... but overall this restaurant was nice place for lunch or dinner with family...
