The interior is basic and smokey, but very clean, the cooks are friendly and tolerant with idiot foreigners who want fish but don't know which one. The food is delicious, perfectly cooked, an absoute feast of flavours, textures and a variety of fish type. We loved it.

Pick your fish and they grill it there and then, add some veggies and rice and you have a great meal. They also had some delicious mango that I would definitely recommend for a post dinner sweetener.

the place is very simple but it's all about the food. Fresh and cheap fish you select when you enter the place, ask the style you want it cooked then it will come with a selection of sambal (cobe-cobe) rice and veggies if ordered. Great and generous portions, good, fast service. The meal was excellent all together.

In this restaurant you have to try the fish eggs on the menu. So also with grilled fish and 3 kinds of chili sauce that accompanies the pleasure of devouring grilled fish.

Fresh and very delicious taste of grill fishes. Not only fishes but also prawns and another seafood. It is traditional restaurant. Do not expect for a good service. Cheap, fresh and delicious.

4 days in rural and remote area of South Sulawesi, many traditional food we tried.. that cooked with Bugis style. Deligious and rich of flavour. But..the most satisfied while we take a dinner at Lae Lae Resto near Losari Beach. Ayam-ayaman fish grilled with traditional coconut oil...fish egg and the most deligious one is spicy sour crab with traditional coconut... More

It's a good choice for Makassar. Simple and local it seems to be always busy so at least the food is fresh. No English menu so need to point at the fish you want. Don't expect fancy.
