The restaurant owners are jovial and enjoy cooking. I had a platter filled with colorful appetizers and fish kebab I also tried their cardomen coffee, it has an exotic taste.

I went with my family of 12 people including myself to Margaret Tayars. The waitress brought out salad for everyone which was delicious. My cousin and I do not eat fish so we both ordered lamb with cous cous. For everyone else she brought out several fish dishes. The maximum price of my meal was probably around 150 NIS. I... More

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this tiny restaurant at the foot of the Joffa old city. Wonderful seafood and cold beer on a hot day - could not have been better!

It was about 8pm and we were about to give up when we saw the big fish atop the awning outside and ducked in. They looked like they were about to close, but they served us anyway. We... More

Followed by a plate of small fish and the famous fish kebab. All of which were very tasty and full of flavour. However the fish kebab could have... More

We stumbled on this place knowing absolutely nothing about it. But we were attracted by the garden location next to the sea on a sunny day. First came a huge jug of refreshing mint lemonade.. The real deal. Then (without even ordering), a spread of spicy vegetables followed by exquisitely cooked fresh fish with more fantastic spices. The taste was... More

Margaret is one of those rare chefs, every bite is a celebration of tasted. Fish prepared like no where else in the world. We eat the amazing salads, cuscus mafrum and grilled fish. Don't miss her special lemonade ... she has a secret recipe. Prepare to pay for the experience.
