My pregnant wife and I were turned away from the empty restaurant 10 minutes before it opened (12:20 opens at 12:30) instead of being able to quietly wait to be served. With most things, it was the manner in which we were turned away that left a bitter taste in the experience. Just unnecessarily rude and grumpy. We almost left... More

Lunch time at the Anse Soleil restaurant can get very busy. Therefore, it's probably best to go after 2. Fish curry was great as were the grilled prawns.

We arrived in the morning before the owner had, but his stooges were looking at our bags to see if we had brought our own food. We had planned to stay the whole day and had been recommended the restaurant. We had envisaged a bite there before leaving. Regardless, his staff forbade us to park in the parking lot so... More

Didn't have time to taste the food. We've been yelled at in the parking lot at our arrival with our 3.5 yrs old kid in our arms. This place really deserves to be closed. Don't go there

Incredible! We asked the waiter at 12:30 when the restaurant will open. He silently pointed to the "Closed" sign. As we had heard from others they open at 12:30, so we asked when they will open. Answer: "The boss is not here". So we asked when he will arrive. Answer: "I don't know" Then, to top it all, the guy... More

Positioned with an incredible view of the beach and water from an elevated location this is an excellent spot for an afternoon lunch and cold beverage. We arrived by car and the parking can be challenging but just follow suit with the folks who parked before you and leave a path to the parking lot below. The owners of this... More

Half of the things on the menu were not available. The food was take-away/fast-food quality but the prices were certainly restaurant prices. The staff gave us the impression they couldn't wait to go home and the owner was non-engaging with clients. Overall the only thing that saved the lunch was the view. If you want to visit this wonderful beach... More

The staff (both the man manager and the waitress) were so rude we left the place before ordering any drink or meal. Surroundings of the house were filthy. Not a place to go again. Beach is very nice.

Finding somewhere open to eat on a Sunday is difficult in Mahe but this place was a great find. Not easy to park so as you descent the hill park where you can. The menu was pretty much fish based but as you are looking at the ocean that makes sense. We had the simple grilled fish which was beautifully... More
