The atmosphere here is very nice , quiet and very homely feel , deco very traditional Thai ,
The foods are good with fair price . Must try their rice cake with special dipping sauce , their 3 flavour fish and the desert are so beautifully prepared .
will go back again .

My thai wife took me there.
This is a very nice place : noiseless, far from traffic and with a thai traditionnal deco.
We ordered moo pa nang, nems with vegetables and crab, Kao tang with sauce : an explosion of flavors. Super good. I rarely eat such a good cooking in thailand.
Prices are correct.
The only negative point is about the staff : not smiling at all and seemed to get bored.

Overall the atmosphere was great and clean, deco was traditional Thai. Air-conditioned, but there were a number of mosquitoes that made the experience bad.
Waitresses were fast and understood English
Food menus were lacking in pictorial, so the best was to ask for recommendations from the waitress. Drinks were limited as many were out of stocks except for bottled juices and water.
We took 4 recommendations from the waitress, deep fried pork, thick curry pork, omelette and kailan (vege) with salted fish. Though the restaurant was almost packed, the food arrived rather fast. All were good and tasty. Maybe slightly salty for our family, but I think that was the standard for Thai food.
Price wise - Total approx THB900 incl 2 juices and bottle of water.
Majority of patrons were local. Many came in luxury cars.
Summary - Though we thought the price was reasonable for such meal, it was on the high side especially for locals in Hatyai. The environment was a plus point. My rating was between 3.5 to 4.0 stars

This place is at the top of my list for the least considering people in Thailand. The place itself is very nice and has a traditional Thai vibe going with it.
Food wise, sadly, is a whole different story. «Can I have the chicken? », «No have », « what about this soup? », « no have », « do you have shrimps? », « no have »... the only dish available was some tasteless pork, which was supposed to be their specialty.
The staff was overall rude, and did nothing to make our experience worth it, especially considering the numerous flows from the kitchen. Instead, they enjoyed sitting at the table next to us and chatted the whole evening with each other.
They got full support from the owner, who was also sitting in the room, yelling at us that we have to choose from the menu faster.
I will certainly not be back.

The decorations in this restaurant is very beautiful, looks like a traditional Thai house rather than a restaurant. The place is small but accommodate quite number of people. But please watch your steps and walking in to the restaurant- too many uneven steps & floor.
All the food that we ordered tasted good. The sambal petai with prawn are superb as well as the spring rolls!
I love the dessert’s presentation - I really appreciate those food with extra effort for the presentation, the neat work (which normally takes time to do it) and the tediousness before the final outcome.
Great food, great hospitality, will come again when visit Hatyai!

Thai style cusine with beautiful decoration. Medium taste, quite small room for enjoy it. The restaurant situated in small road ,hardly to find out. Well to go by own car.

A very unique and hidden restaurant in Hat Yai, luckily enough it was opposite our Hotel (Crystal Hotel). The food was great, delicious and affordable.
The restaurant was well decorated and showcasing the Thai culture. There are some gifts (I.e. Food souvenirs) that can be bought too.
There was a lot of people that were having dinner; and we actually went to have our lunch there on the next day as the food was too good. We were satisfied and full in the end of both meals.
A definitely must try!

Krua Reuan is the type of restaurant that all the tourists would go to if only they knew. So I am getting the word out.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Traditional Thai decor. All the dishes are Southern Thai, delicious, some very spicy, and well presented.
Important tips:
1. Cash only. - a dinner for 4 with 6 dishes was 1300 baht
2. Gift shop on-site where you can buy some of the decorations
3. Small restaurant with 2 areas to dine traditionally by sitting on the floor
Local Thai friends brought me to this hidden place.

Wooden old traditional style Thai house with A/C. Open 2 rounds only per day. The 1st round is 11.00 - 14.00, then break and reopen 17.00 - 21.00. Very worth to try.
Some strict regulations of the restaurant such as not talking aloud, no alcohol assumption.
