Went out with family who live locally and know the Mekong well. They had chilli con carne, a firm favourite, we had Vietnamese summer rolls, minced pork in rice crepe and one other dish I can't name or describe well! All the food was excellent, well presented and service was wonderful. If time allows a return will be necessary, if... More

We chose Cafe Mekong for our last night in Hua Hin to catch up with our friends. We were all very happy with the night we shared. The restaurant is well presented with outside dining and also have inside dining with AC. They also have a bar area at the front of the cafe if you wish to sit and... More

Beef pho broth tastes like it came out of a can or French onion soup packet. Noodles were pasta noodles instead of rice noodles and I didn't even try the beef bc it didn't look good. I can't speak for anything else bc that was all I ordered. Not the place for pho.

With our friends we had dinner at Mekong's Cafe. After a few weeks of Thaifood we tried the fagitas chicken which was very good. Our frinds enjoyed a salmon spaghetti and Argentina steak. Also they were ery happy with their choices. The restaurant itself was not so cosy, a little "straight" but never the less...an addresse to remember.

One of our favourites. It wasn't a surprise, when we heard that this place is from the same guys as the Coco51. Fresh tastes on spring rolls. Mouthwatering pho. I even had to steal some bites from mrs Kumiankkas greek salad. Crispy, fresh, quality feta and olives used, flavoured with fresh herbs. Solid service. Highly recommended.

So we went just hoping for some decent Mexican food. It was quite a surprise to get fantastic Mexican food. The portions are very large for the price and the flavors are spot on. It's one of the best places off the beaten tourist trail to eat. Check it out

I went there by chance last year. It was good. Food was excellent particularly the shrimp cake. Unlike ordinary one, they used the seasoning of fish cake to make it. Absolutely amazing. Beef Pho is also authentic. I went there again this year. The taste is the same. No doubt one of the best restaurants in the area.

It is a bit far from the main road, but worth the effort of finding it. The food is excellent, although the number of truly Vietnamese dishes is a bit limited. They do not seem to know exactly what type of food they should serve, as they also have Mexican and Italian on the menu, a bit unnecessary there. We... More

Do you want Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Mexican or something else? This place seems to offer it all. I went with Vietnamese and others went for Mexican and it all seemed good. Overall a nice restaurant where different palates can make their choice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place has an extensive menu, we ate Vietnamese and it was delicious, some of the best I've eaten. The beef wrapped in betel leaves was amazing and i would highly recommend it. Steamed pork and mushroom rolls were authentic as was the pancake. Overall excellent, a little on the pricey side for the area but worth it if you... More
