If you want to indulge with a good french dinner, this is the place ! We have been many times to this restaurant and we have never been disappointed. A nice setting, a kind and good service, a welcoming and friendly owner and a very good food. In particular the last time we have enjoyed an excellent sauté de pork... More

It is a French theme resto but has all kinds of food. I had a T-BONE STEAK AND FRIES. EXCELLANT. Nice décor, very clean food cook exactly as you want it (I am picky on steaks) service great I would only be totally thrilled if they took credit cards. Just do not get it why not and a small sign... Having stayed in Rawai for many weeks now, I've gotten familiar with the array of restaurants and cafés in the area. I've returned to Café Java many times because, although it looks a little bit more upmarket and has some pricey western dishes, surprisingly, it actually has excellent clean Thai food at general Thai food prices. From theTom Yum to... More

Very disappointed. Chicken satay was ok but shrimp rice in pinapple was tasteless. I tried to add some flavour with salt and soy sauce. Would definitely not eat here again.

Visited Cafe Java last night and was extremely impressed. I had the Escargot, T-Bone steak and enjoyed that so much I even had Crepe Suzette for desert! The food was all excellent and the staff were very helpful. The only negative was that the Red Wine was very cold and not enjoyable. I would recommend sticking to the beers! Overall... More

Only stayed in this restaurant for a quick drink. Had a look at the menu and the prices seemed really reasonable and the other customers seemed to be enjoying their food. The staff were really friendly so we would definitely come back. The restaurant is on the corner of the street so there are some loud noises with people wizzing... More
