Our tour guide recommended this restaurant for an authentic Vietnamese lunch. The food was good and great value.

If you want to try the original cao lau, this is the place you should go to! I hv been coming back to this restaurant for over 10 years already, and food quality is still the same. The place itself is already almost 100 years old, so enjoy your food and the history of the town at the same time!

Walked into the restaurant because we still wanted to try some of the food typical to Hoi An and the place was full of locals. The place is inexpensive and the food is very good. Try the 'white rose' and 'grilled pork' (grilled inside a banana leaf). The waiters' English is limited, but they make up for it with friendly... More

Our guide suggested this family owned restaurant if we wanted to try out some traditional Hoi An specialties. We joined some friends and sat at the table outside for 2 hours watching vendors trying to sell the folding pop-up cards, tourists walking by, everyone taking pictures. One person spoke and understood English. A menu in English is available and there... More

Every diner in Hoi-an has a set-meal 4 traditional Hoi-an food(such as chao-lao noodle with grilled beef or pork , etc.) So does this place, and we ate them enough to try another thing...Big Mistake, Wrong place for wanton soup or phobo(viet-beef noodle soup)...you'll get Phobo like instant-cup noodle, not worth of price, either. SO if U wanna try this... More

The food it's very good, but not outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is very familiar . You will not spend to much money and you will be satisfied.

This is an hunderd - year - old restaurant with a long history. The dishes are good and original in Vietnam. The price is ok and it is in the menu in front of the restaurant. Maybe one reason why it is not famous is that the waitor cannot speak English well.

This was recommended as a great eatery by our hosts at Faifo Coffee earlier in the day so we tried it out. Thank God we didn't read anything on tripadvisor, as the recent reviews are not flattering. They couldn't be more wrong! Admittedly I was knocked over our first dish, an amazing Cau Lau dish (a taste sensation of pork,... More

Can't agree with some reviews about this restaurant. We tried grilled squid in banana leaves, grilled cicken and hoi an roses and everything was tasty. Low prices as in the city.

The food quality was average . The hygiene level did not seem high . One could see the kitchen where a person only in shorts seem ed to be cooking . The owner? /steward was in a vest and shorts seating people taking orders while smoking s cigarette . Overall a very average experience . Not recommended
