We arrived late in Hoi An, our flight from Hanoi having been delayed, and didn't make it to the restaurant till almost 9pm, our hotel having called ahead. We were given a lovely welcome and were taken through the spotless kitchen to a table looking out over the river. The food took its time in arriving but when it did,... More

We sat on the deck with a direct view of the river and loved the setting. Earlier in the day, we had stumbled into this restaurant by the back door, looking to make a reservation, and were walked through the spotless kitchen where they were preparing food. It was very clean and organized and we were impressed. The food was... More

One of our best meals in Vietnam. Ordered a variety of eats and loved them all. Springrolls, wantons, Bha mi bread, white roses - all great! Sat upstairs and watched the river. See my photos.

We enjoyed our food and where having a great time, table turned out to have a nest of fire ants that bit me and my wife, staff seemed uninterested and seemed more concerned with what else we would order. Generally not impressed with value provided for the cost.

In the dark with all the lanterns it would have been easy to miss their riverside entrance. But once you are inside it is splendid with courteous, attentive staff and lovely food. The menu is sparse, but that also serves to accentuate their specialities. I love the Pho here and their slow cooked pork with quail eggs is scrumptious. Mix... More

We are here on NYE and had the fab snapper and duck. We chose it due to the lovely food and proximity to the NYE stage in town. We splurged and bought a bottle of prosecco ( NYE) and the staff seemed a bit unsure of how to open, pour etc but they were lovely about it.

This was one of our most delightful meals in Vietnam. Mai Fish is on the river but yet a bit out of the main fray, with a lovely inside dining room as well as leafy terrace. Try the "mai fish" cocktail - with vodka, lime and sour plum it is very similar to a margarita. We ordered the seafood hot-pot... More
