Great little restaurant, English menu and staff speak English. Excellent quality food we had the tempura set which was excellent, the prawns were sensational. Lovely funky wooden tables both western and Japanese seating options

This was the closest nice restaurant to our hotel (the Fuji Hakone Guesthouse) so it was convenient but also a great choice in the end. Very picturesque and lovely staff. We had the sukiyaki, which was delicious. Plenty of meat and fresh vegetables, and more...than enough to fill you up. They don’t really do side dishes here which turned out not to be necessary as we were full. We went with the recommended sake (osusume means recommended) and it was very tasty and cheap enough at ¥540 a cup (very generous cups). They don’t open very late though so plan on an early dinner!More

A cold spring night with rain falling we took the bus trip from our Hotel. We were the only guests. It was worth the journey. Prawns the size of hot dogs. Sashimi to die for. Well done to the kitchen.

I had the giant prawns set and it was delicious. She had a sashimi set which was also amazing. We had a lovely night out in a traditional Japanese setting. Good, helpful service from friendly staff who knew enough English to make our visit easier.

We had a nice dinner here as a family of five. The soups were good--not the most amazing ever but certainly good. The fried pork was to die for--juicy, easy to chew, almost letter in your mouth. Service and ambiance were good.

Enjoyed the environment with soft japanese music and traditional japanese restaurant feel. Ordered a beef with sashimi set. And also a bbq beef tongue. Whole meal is enjoyable with the sound of flowing water. Relaxing. Must mention the horsemackeral sashimi is really fantastic.

I had some fried oysters, and a tenpura soba set. Highly recommended for lunch if you visit The Little Prince museum. Good Japanese food and Japanese old style building. 星の王子さま博物館に見に行くと、とてもおすすめよ!美味しい和食、そして日本っぽくな雰囲気と建築だ。
