Great lunch at re-hellow. Fish burger was delicious, fish was fresh and cooked perfect. Love the music and really relaxing with nice view and hammock to lay down on, especially on sunny day. Worth the visit sitting outside.

Mahi-mahi gratinee was the best single menu item on our Japan trip. Perfectly cooked, delicious flavor, excellent accompanying side dishes and a generous portion as well. We also had fish and chips. The fish had too much breading for my taste; the potatoes were served as fried potato rounds rather than the normal french fry or home fry shape -... More

What a cosy cool restaurant - perfect for a meal anytime of the day. We just arrived in Ishigaki and it was the perfect taco rice to settle us in :) Tasty and healthy with a view to boot!

Loco Moco dish was good but MAN is it hot in there. Staff not super friendly at all (don't really blame them with the heat). Nice atmosphere and view.

This cafe has good panorama ocean view. I ordered Ishigaki Pudding, it was creamy and tasty. I just want to say this cafe has very good location, kind staff, good food, however, I felt uncomfortable with the attitude of a male staff, maybe cafe owner. He was so ignorant for me when I was at the entrance and waiting for... More

As a vegetarian, this place was a fabulous find. Lots of choice and an imaginative menu. The staff were really helpful considering I speak no Japanese. Not only was the food great, but the beach location is fantastic too, as is the relaxed atmosphere of the place. Recommended for veggies and non-veggies. My only criticism was that the opening times... More

We went to this restaurant because of the previous review mentioning veggie options and we weren't disappointed. Being a vegetarian is difficult in Japan because the Japanese tend to put meat in everything and don't really understand what vegetarianism involves. Hallow Beach is a lovely, relaxed place with a great terrace overlooking the sea. The atmosphere is great, in not... More

Re:Hellow (yes, it's spelled with a "w") is a relaxed cafe/restaurant that specializes in dishes that center around local island vegetables. Examples include taco rice, Japanese-style hamburger, and vegetable curry. This isn't a vegetarian restaurant, but there are good options for vegetarians. Other offerings include smoothies, coffee drinks, desserts, and a wine list. It's right on the beach; has both... More
