Soup tasted like it’s been watered down & taste just like the soup I get when I cooked my maggie. Easily one of the least tasty mushroom soup & lobster bisque I ever had. All the lobster bisque I had are creamy & full of...flavour but this, uh uh. Pasta was normal, nothing bad nothing good cause it’s still edible. Something you can whip up yourself at home as sauces felt like they were cooked from prepackaged source. The beef. The dry aged brandy beef. We paid original price for it + RM30 cooking fee which amounts to RM234.60 excluding the service charge yet. BUT IT IS SO HORRIBLE, SO SO SO HORRIBLE TERRIBLE & DISAGREEABLE. We ordered medium & just look at it. It’s so tough. Dry aged beef are supposed to be more flavourful, but I guess in this case the flavour have dried with the age. It really question me how they got such a rating or probably I suay to have ordered those that are blah. For this price point, there are tons of better quality & well cooked food. If this is cheap, I’ve got no one to blame cause I pay peanuts I get monkeys. But gurl, I did not pay peanuts. We’ve tried, we’ve tasted & we are not going back. *On a side note, the female waitress saved the star.More

The supposedly saviour ends up ruining the day more

Ordered the following. Carbonara, Beef Bolognese, lobster bisque, brandy dry aged beef, mushroom soup. Carbonara was surprisingly the better of the lot. Beef Bolognese don't live up to the name. Lobster bisque taste just like few packets of seafood instant noodles' broth with bread crumbs....Mushroom soup is as watered down also. The surprising star was the Brandy Dry Aged beef, which staff recommended Medium instead of the requested Medium Rare. What came out was powerful to the blade, hardened crust, really dry interior, intense chewing. Was blown away by the strange meat, and had to vomit out some then.More

Poor meat selection, staff has no training - Poor experience

We went to this place thinking to have a great quality meat dinner. The place was entirely empty. Staff is totally clueless and meat displayed on photos on their website couldn't be further from the truth. One desolate piece of meat hanging in the dry...age fridge and some meat slices, all vacuumed lying a water basin. Slices are so thin, nothing like a real steak and meat is silverish, brown because its been left to oxidize before being vacuumed. Wagyu is priced at 165MR per 100g. so a 300g steak goes for around 500MYR including cooking fee. I don't mind paying for excellent quality but there is such a mismatch here, totally not worth it.More

Fine dining with a reasonable price for lunch set

Decided to give this restaurant a try. Was surprised the restaurant was empty for lunch time on a monday. The server who attended to me pass me a menu after i was seated. He did not even provide me the lunch menu only the normal...menu till i asked for it. If you want your customers to pay for normal meals, dont provide lunch sets. Otherwise, service was pretty good. Probably cos till i finished my meal, i was the only occupied table there. The ink squid pasta was pretty good, just a small portion. Not filling enough. Lunch set was 16RM with a main course, soup and ice lemon tea. Good deal. But i doubt i will visit again.More

Fresh & Innovative Seasonal Food

Was in town and stopped by to try their seasonal Chinese New Year menu - the lobster rice prepared in lotus leaf was AMAZING, possibly one of the best dishes I've ever had during CNY of all time. Outside of the seasonal specials, the fresh...meats and cakes are always a solid here and extremely great value, so any time I'm in JB I make the effort to stop by. While the lobster dish I'm talking about is seasonal, I think you can always try calling ahead to ask what is in season and the restaurant will advise. They seem to be very accommodating, we shared the restaurant with a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary and one of the walls were fully decorated with balloons! Highly recommend this place for the food, atmosphere and service. Looking forward to visiting again when I'm next in town.More

Delicious!

Delicious dinner with great service. Choose the piece of meat and the temperature of the cook for the perfect meal. Soup and sides were just as high quality, definitely worth a visit.

Desserts were divine!

Wanted to satisfy some friend's sweet tooth and we stumbled into this delightful cafe . Would recommend the cheese cake and the Mississippi chocolate cake! Coffee was good including a rose latte!

How to rate?

Well, so many positive reviews here, and I truly don't know how to rate because my experience with the food was not too my expectations. . We had steak, tasted terrible, didn't really think beef was of good quality. Tasted more like buffalo meat. Mushroom...soup was not good too, truffle fries do not have truffle taste but fries were well fried and the dip was good. Pasta was al dente, credit for that, however seafood was overcooked. Their service is good. Will I go back again, not sure!More

Mouthful galore

Second visit and I am in love with the beef here. Presents like a bouquet of meat floral! The fragrance seeps and tantalizes the taste buds. Minimal seasoning and wham, the natural taste is not overpowering. Done to perfection! The spaghetti is ale dente with...a hint of basil and tarragon, scallops, calamari and prawn. My mouth is still having a Mardi Gras celebration!More

Quality fresh beef

Is a meat lover restaurant. Restaurant is cozy and lovely, service is very good & they are friendly. They love to share the knowledge of beef, the food is so fresh & nice especially beef. They only selling chill fresh beef, you can select the...USA prime beef, Australia wagyu beef or Japan beef from the display chiller etc.... This restaurant selling pasta, pork rib & chicken chop as well, pasta & chicken chop, pork ribs are taste good. The restaurant is good for gathering with friends & family. Business entertaining is a good place as well. You won't regret spent time & money here.More

Best fresh beef varieties from different countries and good guidance from the owner
