Fat fish Jb well worth a visit

Can thoroughly recommend Fat fish JB A bunch of us rolled up unannounced for a seafood dinner whilst on a rugby tour for Australia. Staff were brilliant and looked after us perfectly. It’s a steam boat style set up where you buy your seafood select which broth you want and go for gold. They also have plenty of cold beer which can sometimes be a challenge in JB. Prices were more than fair for an establishment with this quality of food. If your in the area do yourself a favour and go

Phenomenal food and service!

The whole experience at FatFish has been phenomenal. We were greeted with attentive servers who readily supported us even when we have not asked for it; like giving us a blanket when the server noticed that we are cold, and offered us phone charging services. The fish we ordered was really delicious as well (orange roughly) , apparently it is not something offered in other places. Not to mention, the price is quite affordable when you share with large groups. All in all, great place to dine in, will come here again!

Fun family dining experience

We are American visitors in JB for a few days. Fatfish was a nice, clean restaurant with lovely, friendly service. The huge chafing dish of seafood and broth at the table was a super fun experience for the family, and delicious! Luckily the staff were very friendly to help us navigate the menu, as we had no idea what to order. The kids found the broth too spicy (even though we ordered low spice), so the staff brought them some plain seafood options on the side. We really enjoyed it!

Excellent service, pleasant visit in JB

Definitely worth a visit if you have little time in JB and want to try out fresh seafood. The staffs were very friendly and give suggestions to the soup base that best match the hotpot type. We had a snapper hotpot and was advised to change our soup base to corn soup. The staffs brought us some sample of the soup base to choose from. The whole dining experience was good, service crew were attentive, the food was great! Keep up the good work!

New Favourite Hot Pot In JB

At first I was a little skeptical but food turned out to be very good! The Food and their customer service is really amazing. The location of the restaurant is also very convenient to find parking. Definitely will come back again. Hot pot lovers will like this place. Another thing I like about Fat Fish is the ambiance of the shop, very relaxing. Not the typical hot pot restaurant you usually find in JB.

Great food, but cockroach.

- We ordered Sichun Spicy Soup based ( less spicy ) and add-on for mushroom set, pork belly, bean curd and ramen. Taste is nice and portion is good enough for 2 people. If there is less oil, it would be better. - Price is average and view is nice to gaze if you get the table near window. - Better to do reservation to get good table for weekends as the space is limited.
