Excellent, best meal I’ve had on my trip

Everything we ordered was fantastic, fresh and flavourful. The prices are very reasonable, I suggest going with a small group and sharing a bunch of dishes. The vegetable kebab (similar to falafel) was particularly delicious, as was the mushroom masala. Everything was made to order, not too oily, good clean vegetarian food. The desserts were also wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough, it’s excellent.

It was a great experience having dinner at JH lovely store. JH lovely offers very good Punjabi vegetarian food. Specialized in allo protas, offers best Manchao soup (Must try) Thank You

Authentic Punjabi Food

The food here always exceeds my expectations. Really love their new menu, paneer butter masala with garlic naan is my personal favourite with a hot cup of Punjabi Cha..you can never go wrong there.

Good food with bad attitude

I felt bad attitude when I am waiting to be ask, not ones 2nd times what I would like to order but instead some from behind speak their lingo got to order. Just imagine I have to ask him can I order then he say yes. Just because the food is ok that doesn’t mean you cannot be friendly with a smile when serving customer. The gravy potion is small and my order short of one and while my wife is still drinking her coffee he came clean the table.

Authentic North Indian/Punjabi food

Located next to the Gurdwara Sahib in JB, this unassuming place was quite a surprise. One of the best authentic and homely Punjabi/North Indian restaurants. We tried the Pani Puri, Aloo/Paneer/Mooli parantha, Sabzi, Lassi and tea and everything was awesome. The pricing is very reasonable too. The space is more akin to a street food stall and service is just ok. But then you go here for the food! Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic vegetarian/north Indian food.

Punjabi vegetarian food

I was at Tan Hiok Hee Heritage Street and was amazed by the many eateries over here. But when I browsed through many of their menu, I only see many of the recipies repeat itself. You can see Nasi Lemak, toasted kaya bread, chicken chop, mee siam, etc duplicated in most of the menu. Not that these delicacies have no standard but because I was hunger for some vegetarian dishes. I learnt of this punjabi stall from TripAdvisor and decided to find my way here. It is located opposite Kotoraya Mall beside the Sikh temple. It is the only Punjabi vegetarian stall in downtown Johor Bahru. When I came over here, the female stallholder was frying chapati. I glanced at the pictures displayed at the stall front and ordered a piece of aloo pratha and a piece of chapati. The service was prompt but the gravy that served together with the pratha and chapati was too small a bowl. I should have asked for more. This is the first time I tried aloo prata and was amazed by the delicious taste. The aloo pratha was served hot and the spicy succulent potato mesh that buttered between the layers melted the moment I put a slice of it into my mouth. The chapati served was a bit of cold. I expected the lady stallholder to give me the one she was toasting but she did not. I also ordered a piece of samosa which look like curry puff but was surprised the cubic pieces of spicy potatoes was very much fragrant with quite a substantial portion. No wonder one piece cost RM3. The aloo pratha cost RM6 while the chapati cost RM2.50. Will come again to try their other delicacies.

Food excellent and sweets but the workers attitude is horrible, no smiles and rude, they think they are untouchable, not friendly and grouchy. Workers attitude must change. Its good for their business in the future

We had an amazing food experience at JH Lovely sweets. Glad to see the new menu with outstanding Punjabi and indo-Chinese dishes. The taste is authentic and worth every penny! Just Great!

Chapati at its best

Enjoyed having Chapati here every time when we are around Jalan Trus, rather small for a RM 2 deal per chapati however since it's fully vegetarian we love to eat there, as for JB folks loving chapati look no further to at least try it once

Staff dont give u smiley faces and food is not a big deal

After reading reviews about this place serving best meal,and best this and that me and my sporean friend decided to try it.This place is located in Indian town nearby the Sikh Temple and opposite UTC kotaraya mall.me n friend ordered 2 capati each and were given a dhall curry i guess.Capati was small,taste wise....i had tried better capati than this.the samosa was tasteless...masala tea....doesnt give the masala taste enough..dont know why people gave a high review bout this place...even the staff were not smiling...they were giving faces of " why am i here....i should be somewhere else" kindda of look...maybe this place gets high review stars becauseof its vegetarian dish...but then again...u can have vegetarian meals at nearby indian restaurant ....overall....me and my friend will never never come and have meals here again...

Best food in JB!

Very tasty food with a good choice between sweet and savory. Everything is only vegetarian and i highly recommend it. The staff is very nice and friendly. Street food feeling. Everything is kept very simple but super clean! Loved it!
