Our first visit to this establishment which we had heard so much about because of the proliferation of its bakeries in shopping malls. Was pleasantly surprised with the interior deco which created such an inviting, comfortable and charming environment for imbibing wine and fine food....As this was one of our many stops on the food trail, we only managed to try a few dishes like mushroom soup, crab spaghetti and French toast washed down with coffee and iced lychee tea. While the service is excellent, we concluded that the restaurant’s best feature were the way its breads were featured in the dishes especially for the French toast which was really amazing. The bread texture was soft and tasty. We made sure we bought the bread when we left. So good! The mushroom soup was alright. For the crab spaghett, our reviews were mixed and this is subjective. The Japanese cheesecake was excellent. Suggest you give it a chance 😃 Price wise, not so cheap so please choose your menu well to maximise your spend. They have a wide selection of western dishes which we have yet to review. Go for the ambiance and the bakery will not disappoint. If you have time, you can bring the family for brekkie and good food.More

Never ever spend a dime on this particular shop after they renovate and set a rule of each dine in customer must order a main dish. Quality of food nothing to shout about. Just normal standard hawker food serve on beautiful plates and charge a...premium. If you have the attitude then my money also have an attitude.More

Really enjoyed it with the family. Better than most hotel western food in JB. Nice ambience and very decent Italian / Mediterranean food. Worth a visit for a good air con meal in JB.

Went to the bakery and it is crowded. So many people. Tried the kueh lapis. It's quite delicious and the box is nice. Will want to try their bread next time.

I come to this bakery quite often and usually bought bread all cost about RM60 plus or more. I dine upstairs too. The waiters and waitress upstairs are friendly recognized me as a regular. What I want to feedback seriously is your staff attitude in...the bakery. Not the restaurant upstairs. Obviously, your staff have not been given proper and regular training on customer service. Their attitude and gesture is rude. Let me just give you two incidents. Once, I was standing near the cashier waiting for the staff to be ready (she squatting down there doing something), I quietly standing there waiting knowing she is busy, as soon as she stood up, saw me, don’t even greet customers, she raised her eyebrows and “asked” me : yes? Who do you want? Today, I bought some bread, usually I will glanced at the cashier machine to know the amt to pay, today somehow the machine didn’t show total, so I asked again how much is it, your cashier impatiently used the tongs hit on the cashier machine few times, and repeated the amt at the same time, straight on his face I tell him “do u know u are very rude by doing so?” Time when I was there, 14/3, 11:50 to 12noon. Few more incidents I refused to comment further. Thinking, may be I shld visit somewhere else. Thank you for your time to read my review. I do feel sad when I see a good quality bakery in JB without good service.More

Been coming here for the last few years now Standard of cooking is ok and the place is always clean and well presented. Service is generally good I tend to go for the classics such as the fried spring chicken - which is tasty and...comes with sides of fries and coleslaw It does have an extensive menu -mainly western with a bit of an eastern twist. The place itself is cosy, and the toilets are clean and not wet . This place is not cheap and you can probably get better food elsewhere but in terms of quality and food hygiene, it is head and shoulders above most other establishments and kopi Tiams where the the level of hygiene is questionable! Great for lunch with friends and family. There is a nice bakery downstairs also.More

Ambience is remarkable. Food options are limited but food is delectable. Desserts are great. Try the Messy Napolean. Of course apart from this the bakery or bistro products are as usual the best in the business. This one in particular is the best Lavender outlet...in JB.More

The food in my opinion is average overall, but considered good for a restaurant in JB. Very nice ambiance and feels like a proper restaurant compared to other places in JB. I was here twice in one week, both times as part of a larger...group - both times, the waitstaff seemed to struggle with basic tasks such as getting drinks correct or bringing out correct orders if a person ordered more than 1 thing. I think this restaurant would greatly benefit from better staff training and focusing on their staff working as a team for the restaurant rather than working as individuals that don't communicate with each other.More

I would say I was drawn to the packaging and also the color of the kaya. However the taste was a huge disappointment, there was not even a hint of the coconut milk and it has got a little bit of bitter aftertaste. Honestly speaking...it shouldn’t be called kaya at all. It’s more like a Gula Melaka spread.More
