The eat all you want menu is value for money. You can order the food in portions you like. Cakes are put in trolley for you to choose. You just sit there and wait for food to be served. From western, chinese, malay and indian food to choose from only for RM 58 per person. The staffs are fast and efficient. I received excellent service from Azham and the Club Renaisance Manager Frankie. The only put off is waiting time for chinese food to deliver from Wan Li Restaurant which is on the other end of the hotel. The add on menu also is commendable for its portions and value.

My family booked a reservation there and had their dinner in the cafe, known as BLD Cafe for gathering they had a good service from aisyah, mentioned by them and most importantly, they said the food is very nice especially the seafood. It is very fresh. Last but not least, my family and I will continue promoting and suggest this cafe to our freiends and other relatives to have buffet here !! “Thankyou BLD Cafe” - from my family who came today.

Always a delight in the morning having breakfast there. Food were good, the people who worked there were even better. People like Ella, Eza, Yaya, Zamrie & Daya were there almost every day which made the whole breakfast experience very enjoyable. Hope to see them again in the near future.

First we bought early bird vouchers for their ramadan buffet, then the Government announced MCO:3.0 -(Lockdown) which meant no more dinning in the restaurant and we asked for a refund and were refused. They forced us to utilize the vouchers on the very last night before the lockdown even though we asked for the vouicher can be used for after the ramadan period.but this was denied.
The last day we came and the place was so full of people (so much for social distancing) without a care of any safety. Utensils on the buffets were touched by everybody...food was cold, leftovers which was not worth their price.
A real shame and wil never come back there anymore.

Was staying here for almost a month on business and had complimentary breakfast as part of the room package. I guess having a free breakfast was not worth it at all.
From the club floor to the main cafe, breakfast was bad. Hot food was stone cold and not worth at all.
Even some cereals were stale and milk not fresh at all. I voiced out my disappointments but nothing changed in the weeks I was there.
Sad but true and not at all any resemblances of a Marriott Hotel.

We are regulars and recently went here with our family on the last day of Iftar. We were not very impressed with the buffet selections during that time. I just have to say that their regular buffet was far superior, especially given the high premium rate paid for the Ramadan buffet; obviously, more and better service was expected from the restaurant. The table set up was poor and the food catered was a let down. However, big compliments to Ms. Shima for accommodating us and trying to make sure that we had a very good time there.

Staying here for 4 days was an mesmerizing moment for me. Got a very good service by the staffs from Front office until at the cafe. Especially at BLD Cafe, having breakfast, lunch and dinner here being served by friendly and helpful staff (Yaya, Eza, Ella, Harith, Farhan, Wani, Khairul and Dilson). Will be good to be here again in the future.

Impeccable service by Club Renaissance team Frankie and Shirley, they make all arrangements at this hotel easy. A little hesitant at first when she said call her for any arrangement at the hotel, a usual remark by any sales team, but... It turned out, that was not a casual lip service! Msg replied despite after 10pm, best value hotel membership signed up thus far. Scrumptious buffet spread, excellent quality seafood varieties, simply fresh. They serve up humongous oysters freshly imported from Japan. Oysters replenished on bed of ice timingly without downtime, each fat and juicy oyster shucked meticulously clean with no traces of shell bits by Chef Ding and his team, well done! The quality of foods worth every dime paid for, especially the extra 35% discount off total bill being a club member! Tried - poached prawn, slipper lobster, yabby, fresh water prawn, scallop, baked full salmon, grilled lamb, sashimi, six types of cheeses, etc. Have to make another trip again to try the other two third of the spread. Highly recommended! Tip - join the club first for complementary buffet vouchers and discount, else the buffet per head is RM138.

Honestly, the food at here is very nice and fresh. The price RM88 per person for me is very wroth it. This is the first time having buffet dinner for me and my girlfriend. For me, I suggest if you want to come to having this buffet, you need to empty your stomach before you start eating!

Visited this cafe in Aug celebrating my brother's birthday. Initially booked this cafe via ws and had a great chat with the guy online as he was friendly and professional with his gesture in updating me on the dinner buffet rates, timing n etc. However another call was received from Eza to follow up on my booking. Initially i was skeptical as there are numerous scams online but Eza introduced me to the membership scheme and she convinced me that i will get room frebies from the hotel and also other discounts to future meals n and also my upcoming reservation. Upon payment online, a confirmation was assured. But what blowed me on the actual day was that she was personally there even though her working hours were officially over to ensure everything was ok. Needless to say, the birthday cake arrangements, the whole buffet spread, the tasty food and the quick n polite service tendered to my whole family was greatly appreciated. Service was on another level. Thank you again Eza, Yaya, Aisya & Kamarul for making my dinner of 18 pax memorable.

We book a table via tableapp and its so easy to book with your preferred time. Visited the café on lunch time and was greeted by their friendly and cherish staff Yaya and Eza. As a birthday compliment, my mom was charged as kids buffet rate and that's surprised us with their kindness. The highlight was the café team prepared a complimentary delicious cake with macaroon on top for the birthday girl and they even surprised my mom with birthday song sang by all the staff in the café. It was a very sweet moment for us. For the buffet line, we would rate it as average with the price stated.

I had a great time eating delicious food at BLD cafe. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly most impotently every food and drinks on your menu tasted great. Thanks Mr Frankie, Ezza (Ombak rindu) , Zaza and Ella for the warmest service.

I am so called a regular walk-in customer with Cafe BLD and I am quite frustrated with the food quality. I went yesterday night with my family for buffet dinner. There were lots of guests and we are ok with that. The only thing is the food quality is not like ‘those days’ whereby we can spent hours eating in the cafe. It was totally different yesterday when the foods are not really taste that good. I am not sure for other guests but for myself, I am very particular when comes to food. The spread looks quite alot but when I can only spend like 2-3 rounds only as the other foods doesn’t really looks tempting. We are paying RM88 per pax and its not really worth paying. I believed, there must be a changed on the chefs. It can be seen that the cafe is cutting cost as well. I hope the cafe can make more improvements on the foods quality otherwise they needs to revise back the price for all buffets. Thank you.

Aug2022. I was here for normal weekday(Thursday) lunch. My first time trying the buffet lunch at this restaurant(BLD). Can be easily reached from JB Sentral by direct bus (check Google Maps). Fantastic staff, very courteous and helpful. The food is good quality and delicious. Always topped up and not lacking even until near the end (12noon-3pm). Reasonable variety including Western and Asian (Malay, Indian, Chinese) foods and desserts. Free-flow plain water and also orange cordial included. Also shaved-ice desserts and a variety of fruits. There were quite a number of tables with people wearing their company uniform. They didn't appear to be celebrating anything in particular (ie. this buffet seems to be worth becoming part of the daily lunch rotation for some local office workers!!). Price is already worth it before any discounts, but with StandardCharteredCreditCard 15% discount, it is definitely more worth it. FrancisTLim.

Had breakfast at the cafe, the food was excellent and so was the service. Came to the cafe with 3 kids the staff really helpful, got one staff Marlina help the kids to take food while im taking care my youngest at the table. Before we go back to our rooms Marlina gave me food container to pack bread, fruits or any left over food that we wanted to brings back except the main food. Thank you for awesome service Marlina..😍😍
