This centrally located restaurant was busy (always a good sign), but we managed to walk in and secure two tables. Helpful and friendly service. The chicken rice was good and the fish outstanding!!

Easily located along the road. Good for lunch. Not an air cond place but airy enough. Popular for its chicken rice with steamed or roasted chicken. One can add roasted pork and char siew. Price is reasonable.
I had an excellent meal of traditional prawns, fried rice and beer. The price was good and the food was first class. I'll be returning soon.
A friendly smile of the lady boss really made us felt at home. The foods she recommended were awesome and the portion was just nice for three of us. We like the deep fried squids and signature pork ribs very much.
It is a nice Chinese restaurant with reasonable price. The steamed fish was great, very fresh. The lady boss is very friendly. We enjoyed the lunch very much.
We had the fish curry and the tofu claypot. Both totally amazing. Overwhelmingly so! Sensational meal. The ladies were very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommended if you find yourself in Mersing for an evening.
Their staffs are helpful & friendly. Seafood are fresh & taste good. Try it curry fish. Price is reasonable.
food was good, fresh seafood - excellent fish, prawns.. took a long time though.. went for lunch and managed to get a parking spot easily.. was initially worried about finding a parking space as there is only roadside parking
I had to wait for the bus in this town, and sat here for a whilem with really good food and big cold beers. They even let me stay while they were closing ... must eat if you are in Mersing
We stopped in for lunch while walking back from the ferry terminal, and were very glad that we did. We tried the Spicy Prawns, Deep Fried Squid and the Hong Kong Noodles. All of them were delicious. This restaurant serves beer with its meals which...was an extra bonus. Well worth stopping for a bite to eat.More
We dropped by for lunch after our island tour. The ingredients were fresh, my family especially enjoyed the fired sotong (squid). We just can't stopped we had to ordered a second serving after we finished the first.
Best dish is ginger spring onion wildboar. If they run out wildboar, can substitute with pork. As good as. Drunken prawns is steam prawns in egg custard with splash of shaoxing wine. Quite watery prawns today. They did the vegetables dish for Caucasian taste. With...oyster sauce. Wish they keep with local style just garlic and broth. Loving the Thai fragrance rice is served here. Top notch service here. Closed on Thursday.More
My wife and I had diner at Ee Lo and we have enjoyed our diner. The restaurant is very basic, this is an open area with "nice" view on a roundabout, the service is very basic but efficient, but the food we had was better...than expected: the sizzled squids were very tasty, the prawns were very fresh, not overcooked and the spicy sauce was great combination, veggies were good and the rice ok. All this for an affordable price given quality and quantity of seafood. Recommended !More
Saw the high rated review and managed to visit on 26 Mar 2018 for lunch before departing at Mersing Jetty at 2 pm. Friendly service but the food is average from a small town. Will recommend to friends and family.
I’ve checked in to the Mersing-inn on my way to Tioman Island and came across this place. Ask for the famous fish curry which is not on the menu 👍🏻 Wow, what an experience. Rich, fresh, tasty and full of fish and veggies. Spectacular
